kingfox Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 Who? Pearson. Would be fuming at your interfering! Haha Who This is the guy who will be partnering Vardy in the Euro qualifiers for England.

Ok mate, not sure I trust your judgement on strikers after your rant about waggy a few years back though. Judging by his current team and scoring record I'm right not to trust you haha. Let's get Heskey back and draw Muzzy out of retirement.
Xen Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 A tougher q would perhaps be if you'd just won £10m on the lottery and found out the club needed £11m to survive... Giving up everything you've just won without the assurance that the club will survive as a result of your charity? I'd think twice.
CKB Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 Of course i would, i'd then change our name to Leicester Foxes and kit colour to red
sylofox Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 I'd give them 15mill on one condition. THEY SWAP THE KOP WITH THE FAMILY STAND lol
sylofox Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 Of course i would, i'd then change our name to Leicester Foxes and kit colour to red I'd save up for a gun and shoot you.
CKB Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 I'd bring Fawaz in to help run the club. Great call! i'd get Vincent Tan in aswell and Risdale
CKB Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 I'd save up for a gun and shoot you. You would shoot the guy that saved our club? well that's not very nice is it! I WITHDRAW MY 10 MILLION!!!
chili_con_carne Posted 23 February 2014 Author Posted 23 February 2014 Is it really such a silly question. Don't think you would see a footballer cough up 10 million to save a club. Even a club he supported as a boy. Ten million is an eighth of all the money you have and ten million in football terms is nothing. The club could be in trouble again and its ten million down the drain.
Foxhateram Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 What a stupid question. What a fantastically encouraging, entertaining and insightful post. I really do think you have added a lot to the conversation with that. In fact I might even vote it to be post of the year. We need more posters like you around here.

Footballers probably wouldn't give a shit, some would. Look at Heskey and Linekar when we went into administration. They put money into the club.

ozleicester Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 I would give the club 10 million I would give NP 10 million the remainder i would invest in.... You know it makes sense

Giving up everything you've just won without the assurance that the club will survive as a result of your charity? I'd think twice. I was thinking this earlier when I first read the post, and as much as I love the club, I don't think I could swap the opportunity to work as little as I liked and enjoy life to the fullest in return for keeping Leicester City going to only go and pay out £10m a month in wages a few years down the line. Obviously the answer to OP's question is yes.

fuchsntf Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 No I would take over forest....and change their name to THE Leicester, then move onto Derby and change their name To city4rams1...oh its great when ur a kid. Anyway we all have to grow up, besides my 127m jacko win, I shared with my family and goldfish, the cat and dog were obviously upset, but I told them to go and meow and bark at 1 of my lawyers, who Helped me sought out the aggresion over my testament, communication isnt great but his success rate as a bloody great Tiger, is terrrrrifffffic. Now where was I, oh yes 1mil £ for you, 2mil£ for me, 1mil £ n 1£ for you, 2mil £ n 2£ for me....sorry but, bcos this win means I have to keep occupied somehow, work was too tedious...1£ for you ,2£ for me, oh shit all this posting made me forget where I was with my counting, have to start again, well I'll do it in Euro, then I can pay myself overtime.

(But obviously the answer to OP is yes)
cityfanlee23 Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 I'd INVEST 10m, I wouldnt give 10m just for some useless cnut that got them into that position to waste it... If we were in a position where we need 10m to survive, I'd value the club at £30m max. I'd want atleast 25% Thats my children, grandchildren and great grandchildrens inheritence, you don't think I am just going to give it away to someone who earns a fortune anyway to blow it?
Guest MattP Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 Yes but I'd want a position on the board for life in return.
lgfualol Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 I'd buy Foxestalk and put everything into Comic sans
MattGamble92 Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 I wouldnt pass the fit and proper persons test
