Worst ever Leicester XI

At a time where we are seeing some of the best Leicester players for a very long time it is very easy for me to look back and chuckle at some of the dross that's slithered into our shirts in the past

So, who are the worst Leicester City starting 11 in your lifetime?

Rules;

They can all have played at different times, aslong as each player has played since you were alive.

No reserve team players or trialists

Must have been with the club for at least a season

Finally, each player you choose must have been an active member of the team, as in, at the time that they played they were more or less the best we had in that position and had a fair number of appearances.

Have fun kids

I think most of these were at City for a season and the scars of their performances mean they were definitely active members of the team at one point. They would line up in an epic 4-3-3 formation as follows:

Kevin Pressman

John Curtis

Lee Marshall

Jacob Laursen

Chris Makin

Josh Low

Junior Lewis

Alan Rogers

Ade Akinbiyi

Mark De Vries

Elvis Hammond

Manager: Peter Taylor

You know the problem with ex players returning to city, they usually play a blinder a n d often score.

This team above, would wupp us 4-0 with Pressman saving 3 penalties

Don't worry, I'm not going to check you on appearance stats, I just thought there might be one idiot who picked a load of players I've never heard of ha, I remember the boos Josh Low used to get, he must have hated his time here,

In other news I'm watching Late Kick Off and Manish said that Lee Hendrie (who's on the show) was once a Fox, I have absolutely no recollection of him playing at all

Even if he did save 3 pens we'd still have lost 4-3????

Anyway, in my opinion whilst I have been a fan.

Casino Jimmy

Nielson

Laursen

Darren Kenton

McGivern

Momo Sylla

Steven Hughes

Lee Morris

Josh Low

Elvis Hammond

Ricky Sappleton

Manager : Levein

It's pretty much a Levein team to be fair. My god we were shocking back then, and two of these lot scored in that famous win against Spurs! The third goal scorer almost got in ahead of the Sappleizer but the Sappleizer was bigged up to be the next big thing in English football! Cray cray

Yeah he came on loan for a couple of months, took a few corners and fvck all else!

Only thing I remember about him is bouncing the ball before he took a corner every time.

or when we were 1-0 down at home to bristol rovers and super baz came off the bench put in a blinding performance and we won 2-1.

he was the 08/09 taylor-fletch. a hero.

edit - potentially very harsh on gaz tf, he really is fúcking boss, hayles was just boss in my dreams.

He was ****ing shoddy and you know it!

haha shoddy is being kind to him to be fair. Never in a million years did he mean that goal against palace. Didn't he also score one against Cov in the Zsolt/Bori game that barely trickled over the line in the 90th or did I dream that?

That's why it sticks out in my memory. I remember a 0-0 draw against Brizzle at home where he urged the kop on at every corner as we pummelled there goal towards the end. Dark times

yeah he came off the bench and scored. I feel bad for Baz now. I've realised that even though he was atrocious there has been a load of shit even worse than him. Roman Bednar - I hate him so much I completely put it out of my head that he was here.

My god reading this makes you realise the depths we sank to over the last ten years.

Some appalling footballers, really bad.

Jarrett did okay when he was here. He was the best of an awful team. Not sure why he's in some teams

He was dog shite. Gerrbrand wasn't a bad centre half he just didn't settle here for whatever reasons

Well when you look and unfortunately remember some of this lot, it makes you realise how well of we are now. Some moan about Nugent or Hammond or whoever but we'd have given an arm and leg to have someone like that when these lot were kicking around
