Rob1742 Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Rab Douglas Alan Maybury Steve Thompson Gregor Stevens Alan Evans Johnson Billy Davies Dennis Wise Josh Low Hammond Benjamin The Johnson is the left back from the Pleat era. Billy Davies must be in there . Lasted 10 games and went back to Scotland. Awful, didn't even last two months. The Steve Thompson was the centre back who played two games. Clearly off the pace and got binned straight away. We then later signed a good Steve Thompson.
surrifox Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 worst or least likeable XI ? Wise may have been a colossal dick head but no way is he one of the worst players - not even close.

GingerrrFox Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 worst or least likeable XI ? Wise may have been a colossal dick head but no way is he one of the worst players - not even close. He was absolute shite for us.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 There are so many shite players, I cannot begin to form a team, has Nicky Platnaur been mentioned, Scarey Carey as well.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Is it just me who thinks Robbie Neilson in this team is very unfair. Dont get me wrong he was hardly amazing but gave 100% performances all the time and was better than likes of Maybury, Kenton, Lamey etc. At the start of 2010-11 when we started shit, he was one of the better players.
Lionator Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Nathan Blake was far worse than Hammond, Hayles and De Vries.
Fox92 Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Low was terrible, probably the worst player I've ever seen.

I don't know mate, when we lost 6-1 at Portsmouth, saying that he looked like a Sunday league player would be doing him a great justice. But seriously, I didn't think he was that bad, I think Lamey has to take the right back spot.
ashby_fox Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Looking back there are far too many to mention!! Especially in the mid 2000's. Rab Douglas Norman Leet Peter Eccles Brian Carey Alan Rogers Dennis Wise Billy Davies Josh Low Ashley Ward Wayne Clarke Tommy English Subs. Zelijko Kalac Nicky Mohan Lee Marshall Junior Lewis Momo Sylla Carl Cort Ade Akinbiyi

Chairman of the Bored Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Andy Feeley has to be in there somewhere. Lammie Robertson and Gregor Stevens too. Those were the days....
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Pretty much anyone from any Rob Kelly and Craig Levein team,
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 I don't know mate, when we lost 6-1 at Portsmouth, saying that he looked like a Sunday league player would be doing him a great justice. But seriously, I didn't think he was that bad, I think Lamey has to take the right back spot. This thread from when he left has some poeple recognize the fact he gave his all and was a lot better than others we have had http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/74755-neilson-departs/ http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/77964-robbie-nielson/ And that goal he scored vs Macclesfield and his long throw was a good weapon ha
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 In my lifetime, the worst 11 must certainly contain Lee Marshall and Paul Reid. I saw both play and wondered on both occassions how they ever became professional footballers. Add to that the left back we had on loan from Man City... blonde lad, can't remember his name.. He was shocking..

Robbie Nielson was no way one of our worst ever players. He couldn't cross for shit, but was fairly solid defensively.
jimmeh Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Ricardo Maybury Heath Keown Mcgivern Josh Low Stephen Hughes Andy Johnson Johnny Hayes Carl Cort Elvis Hammond
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Robbie Nielson was no way one of our worst ever players. He couldn't cross for shit, but was fairly solid defensively. This. Although i remember one or two or good good crosses, like when he crossed for King at the far post at Palace away to get the first goal in the 3-2 defeat. Anyway like i said he was much better than Kaebi, Maybury, Kenton, etc
sk3since03 Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Ryan McGivern *shudder* My feelings exactly haha
eye666 Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Bonus points if you can name a "Shit XI" made up of right-backs...
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 My feelings exactly haha That's the fella! Where is McGivern playing now?
Corky Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 worst or least likeable XI ? Wise may have been a colossal dick head but no way is he one of the worst players - not even close. He was appalling, a dreadful influence on the pitch. We were routinely overrun in midfield (which had been the strong point previously) and he introduced his short corner routine which produced one goal I believe. Awful signing in so many ways.
5waller5 Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Agghh yes.... Lee Morris, Dabizas, Sergio Hellings, Verma, Danny Cadamarteri, Gerrbrand, Darren Kenton, Jamie Clapham, Gabor Bori, Zsolt Laczko and Geoff Horsefield. God they were shyte. Really???? Not for me.
