I know for many how we got promoted wasn't exactly what they wanted - no winning it at home with all of us together cheering our team on - but we have done it and we have the rest of the season to enjoy this feeling and get behind our team and drive them to the Championship. I, for one, am happy it happened today. It has been a long time coming and the sooner the better was my attitude. Would have liked to have been with you guys but we have plenty of time to hang out and enjoy our domination of this league. If the day itself wasn't as classy as was expected then you can fall back on the knowledge that our team has been pure class all season.

So, where were you and how did you hear the news? I think many of you would have found out like me in this way:

http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/9251600/story-of-soccer-saturday-5th-april

(watch from 6 minutes).

I have watched it a few times now just to reassure myself that it actually did happen. Thank you Jeff for getting as excited about it as you did and as it deserved (on our behalf). This is a good memory.

Let the good times roll!

I didn't find out until 22:10 tonight.

I was at work until half four, had some shit to sort out at Halfords, then my wife decided to go Punjab Palace. I purposely avoided TV. My iPhone was flat. I recorded Soccer Saturday and watched it start to finish!

I watched Final Score and kept up with events on Twitter. In all the joy I can't remember how I found out first. I think they went to Goldsands Stadium just before the final whistle went.

Twitter erupted as the dying seconds fizzed out at Bournemouth. Only realised when watching the above that QPR had a header cleared off the line in stoppage time!

That is top willpower to last until 22.10, not sure I would have managed it!

Jeff Stelling wreaked more havoc with my nerves and emotions today than any woman has managed so far! I think this means Jeff might be the one for me...

Jeff makes Soccer Saturday what it is... Be a very sad day for football I think, when we lose his presence. Great hype about us after Bournemouth beat QPR, quality.

Watched Jeff and the boys with my lad, we both leapt about like lunatics after that eternal last two minutes. It was personal relief as after travelling from Sheffield Uni for every home game the one he can't make is Brighton, selfishly I didn't want him to miss the magic moment!

I was asleep! Woke up to a message from my uncle, was confused, checked the scores, started crying.

Didn't want to sit and watch the scores so went out with the missus. Randomly ended up on the drive home putting radio leicester on to hear the final minute of the QPR game on. Epic commentary by Jason Bourne it's gotta be said! On Troon way when it was confirmed! Still can't believe we did it!!!!!! COYBBBBBBBB!!!!

Not sure how they'll ever replace Jeff. Jules is ok but Jeff is just magnificent. National treasure.

And as said above, a massive thanks to him for doing the moment justice!

Stelling is a top top football presenter. One of the best, if not the best.

Jeff is a top presenter who knows everything about all the leagues right down to the Skrill (is it still called that?).

I thought the way he did it building up the fans, manager and everyone at the club was fantastic, no doubt he goes through all this season after season but this is our time and I thought it was great.

Always tune into the Gillette soccer Saturday if we're not playing, far better presenters, atmosphere than the dreary BBC output on final score.

One day I won't forget.

ETA. When QPR had their final corner and Green came up I did think somehow it was going to be a late goal, but apparently the cherries cleared it off the line for us, hope they make the play offs now.

I like Jeff Stelling but for me he was wrong!

He mentioned Leicester fans nervously sat waiting for the results to come in. That's not true I was sat there hoping for the correct results for us but knowing if they didn't fall right for us we would finish the job ourselves on Tuesday or at least in the next 6 matches.

My reaction got recorded because everyone around me thought it was hilarious watching me staring at the screen waiting. Jeff really couldn't have made it more dramatic even if he tried!

I'm becoming more and more convinced you're Harry Redknapp with every post!

I'll take that as a compliment! Though to be fair I look more like Arry than Jamie..
