coalville fox Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Who can recall the last pitch invasion at city? I remember city v Newcastle but that was more pure violence than euphoria...happy days.
AndWhat? Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 And that will still be our last this time tomorrow. We just don't have it in us anymore.
lmlcfc1 Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 We certainley do, il bé on that pitch no doubt! WE and the players deserve it, every club does it when they acheive promotion. Lets not bé different, go and celebrate at FT
docho66 Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Any stupid fool who has intentions to invade the pitch BEFORE that full time whistle had better step back and think twice! Don't be a dick, we're not that sort of fan. Let's all celebrate once the game is over. I can't wait for my selfie with the players on the pitch!
kingpower84 Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Yeah come on lets invade at ft tonight we deserve this its been ten years every1 eles does when promoted
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Why do you have to go on the pitch to celebrate?
Babylon Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 The moment has gone, why bother. Do it when we win the title against QPR.
Filbert_Ross Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 The moment has gone, why bother. Do it when we win the title against QPR. Agree with this.
docho66 Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 A pitch invasion can be seen as a tradition amongst football fans. It's a special moment for us to celebrate in true fashion. I'm afraid I am a sheep - if the majority go, then so will I. I won't be a leader. If it fails, it fails. If it is a success, then we will all have a good time!
Blanesta Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 That guy at the Sheffield Wed game did a pitch invasion! Hahaha
Manwell Pablo Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 And that will still be our last this time tomorrow. We just don't have it in us anymore. Why would anyone invade the pitch tonight it'd just be stupid, we were promoted on Saturday Half of you have forgoten what makes them so good, their spontaneous, not planned, and reactionary. Not something you plan on the internet or something that has to be carried out at the next home game after achieving something.
kingcarr21 Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 why would we pitch invade tonight. A pitch invasion should be a spontaneous moment of joy not a pre planned moment. Just celebrate in the stand and do the pitch invasion the day we (hopefully) win the title. It would look ridiculous to pitch invade if we lose tonight.
Captain... Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Pitch invasions are spontaneous and not pre-planned, I do find it funny that we haven't had a pitch invasion in this age of smart phones and internet forums and vastly improved means of communication. It didn't need hundreds of threads on an internet forum back in the day, just a spontaneous moment of collective joy. Anyway, it shouldn't happen until we have secured the Championship, beaten our unbeaten record, surpassed the Champioship points tally record and dominated this league like champs. We have our last game of the season at home when we can truly celebrate everything we have achieved this season.
Grandad. Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Let the players embrace the applause they deserve tonight and let them have a lap of honour, fully agree do the pitch invasion when you win the title, it won't be long folks.
StanSP Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Why do you have to go on the pitch to celebrate? Exactly. I got called 'boring' for warning people they face sanctions if they do go on . The moment has gone, why bother. Do it when we win the title against QPR. Yeah I don't get why it's even being considered for today.
Ricey Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Let the players embrace the applause they deserve tonight and let them have a lap of honour, fully agree do the pitch invasion when you win the title, it won't be long folks. If they do a lap of honour that is. Seeing as it was decided to do the traditional champagne and 'We're Going Up' banner celebrations at the training ground yesterday, I doubt they'll do that again. Could be wrong though.
