Before we start with the negatives...

Another point many people forget...when we was on that great unbeaten run, we didnt play brilliant ,outstanding, untouchable

football...Weve been the best team in the league, nomore, no less. Sometimes we were fluent, somtimes grinding out,

sometimes fortunate, sometimes we played beautifully.

And other tight games like tonight went for us... Watford, Yeovil - last minute equalisers. Similar matches to tonight, it's just very fine margins, we could have done the same again tonight.

Yeh, no one's saying that isn't good.

But come on, don't lie to yourself. We haven't given 100% in our last 2 games, and we all know it.

im glad some of us are negative, it shows how dominant we have been this season. we draw or lose and people overreact. this is probably what it felt like to be united fans over the last 20 years.

It seems Leicester's amazing success this season has become their own downfall when it comes to a few fans expectations.

Tonight was a hard earnt point against a tough team fighting to stay in a play off place.

Nah, it was a sterile match with a below par performance/effort from us.

If it was hard fought we would have won the game.

You can't say Kasper, Mahrez and DD didn't give 100%

As a team yes maybe we haven't played as consistently as we now expect but some individuals can still hold their heads high from the last few results.

Oh yeh some individuals gave their all. I'd add Vardy to that list, as usual. Some were a bit half hearted and too relaxed though.

I'm convinced that if we weren't already promoted, our last 2 performances would have been a lot more energetic and just better in general.

Did he say otherwise? All he's done is point out the bit of your post I've highlighted

I really enjoyed the game; thought it was open and entertaining; chances at both ends; both sides going for the win; I never understand why people constantly look for the negatives all the time; yeah, we were abysmal last week and yeah, we weren't that fluent tonight but the constant lack of perspective from some of our fans, especially given how the season has gone, is simply unbelievable.

It amazes me how many posters think, the teams we play against must automatically be crap, and every single oppostion Player is rubbish and shouldnt be on the same pitch as us.

Plus they expect city or worse believe city have had nothing but above average/top performances.

If you lose or draw to some fans WWide its a rubbish performance....

But Reading were average. Their strikers weren't threatening, their defence was there for the taking. Other than McCleary they offered nothing.

Like it or not, we are the best team in the league. Considerably better than Reading, the league table says. So it's not unreasonable to suggest we didn't play to our best if we didn't beat them.

Totally agree.

I think now we've been promoted we've taken the foot off the pedal, and some players are not putting in that extra effort like they have been all season. They're not closing down as quick, chasing back as fast, going in hard on the tackles.

And it's something that I'm sure Nigel will want to put right because he won't accept finishing the season with poor results.

I'd say they threatened us a lot up top in the air. Pav had both Was and Wes in his back pocket at times.

Set pieces is one of the main areas we need to improve next season both attacking and defending else we could really struggle.

I think I would have taken a point before the match.

We've won at QPR, at Derby, at Burnley and avoided defeat at Wigan and Reading.

That's shit.

What an awful week, sealing the result which ensure we've the upper hand not on just one or two of our rivals, but ALL of them.

Pearson is still on borrowed time with some of our fans, despite this season - two consecutive defeats and they'll be on the moan-in and in this forum calling for him to be sacked and someone famous to be installed who can endanger the very future of our club again to be installed.

There are probably some on here who hate we have the best team in the league & that we're going to be Champions for the second time under Pearson

Let's face it Was /Wes partnership is not good enough for the premier league... Lescott along side Wes and we'll look different class at the back!!

Maybe Rio Ferdinand is a shout. His contract is up at the end of the season, still a very good defender

I wouldn't say the performances looked much different than we have since Blackburn, lots of players have been off form since then. Very strange that we were ticking along nicely until then and suddenly most of the team couldn't pass to each other. In fact I'd say last night was an improvement on games like Yeovil.

I think the title is in the bag as it stands. The players have worked very hard this season and taken the pressure of them.

Im just glad we are playing like this now instead of playing like it a few months ago.
