Bob Weasel Fox Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 So basically all Big Nige has to do is play our strongest team whilst playing some of the fringe players and giving some of the youth a chance and making sure Phillips plays some part. Then he needs to make sure we spank Doncaster, scoring at least 3 goals but simultaneously make sure they stay up. Any competent manager could sort that surely? Very good

Devonfox1884 Posted 29 April 2014 Author Posted 29 April 2014 I'd like to see Nige give Ngoma a spot on the bench as a reward for winning academy player of the year. Agreed. Him, Cain and Phillips to be the 3 bought on as substitutes.
Soup Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 In fairness I don't think I'll be watching much of the game.
-blue- Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 I'm a little apprehensive I want to enjoy the occasion but will be in the Doncaster end....... When the 'stand up for the champions' chant starts can you all give me a little wave? You'll be able to spot me ha!

Bert Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 Kasper De Laet Schlupp Wasyl Morgan Mahrez Knockaert Drinky James Phillips Nugent
Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 Phillips can do one if he expects a start after his display against Brighton! Call me sentimental but he can have ten minutes at the end.
Guest ttfn Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 It'll be interesting to see how Dickov sets up given that there's a fair (but not certain) chance Donny will need to win. Not unlike us away at Stoke in 07/08, the only difference being Donny are 55 points behind us and we were only 26 behind Stoke so perhaps we had a more realistic chance of staying in it just hey keeping things tight.

That's a crazy difference in the points split given the league positions were almost identical.
Corky Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 Schmeichel De Laet Morgan Wasyl Konchesky Drinkwater James King Mahrez Dyer Nugent No messing, end the season on a high, put the best team out.
Stevosevic Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 Don't think Donny will need any points from this, Birmingham look awful.
NewburyFox Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 Phillips can do one if he expects a start after his display against Brighton! Call me sentimental but he can have ten minutes at the end. Too bloody right. I love Kev but it was like playing with 10 men against Brighton. Bring him on as a sub sometime in the second half.
cjslcfc Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 I just get the impression Phillips will start. Far better send off for him to come off to an individual standing ovation during the game and I will imagine that will happen. The guy deserves it. Top professional who has had a good career

Perfect end to the perfect season, with Brum losing 4-0 the trophy paraded followed by everyone on the pitch dancing to Sam Bailey with Big Nige.
