Never seen the lad play, only met him a few times in DL gym and at LCFC (and maybe once or twice in town) and he's always been very polite and friendly. He's clearly got some talent to be picked in England youth squads, perhaps his career has dipped and maybe he'll come good somewhere else down the line. A little bit too much unnecessary 'sticking the boot in' here for my liking to be honest. It's the kind of thing you expect on other LCFC forums.

 

That said, the youtube video of him which someone posted is pure cringe.

TBF you are the same guy who thinks Don Goodman is a decent bloke. Not exactly a great track record.

I think a certain someone in this thread needs to realise that criticism is part and parcel of the game..... If you can't take it, stay away and when he has/does make it - then come back to the people that criticised George and say "I told you so". As already said, I think he'll make it in the lower leagues, but for where our club is going Tafty certainly wouldn't cut the mustard right now.

After all this is a messageboard and not everyone is going to see the same thing.
