FOXES-BROWNBOY Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 Do you think we will get 30,000+ for every home game next season? or do you think every games will be a sell out? Or do you think due to high ticket prices our average home attendance will be about 28,000?
AndWhat? Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 Burnley home on a Tuesday?? Lucky if we got 28,000 I reckon.
Babylon Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 Depends on when we have to play teams, the big teams will naturally draw in a large crowd. If games against some of the less glam clubs (Hull, QPR & Burnley I'm looking at you) are near the start of the season they will draw crowds because of the novelty. With the bigger teams drawing big crowds towards the end of the season. If it's the other way round and we're struggling, then we're not going to get great crowds against the poorer teams.
LCFC Rennie Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 If we're losing and in the relegation zone all of the bandwagon fans will disappear once again.... Apart from when it come's to United, Liverpool, Arsenal, City, Chelsea, Tottenham.
ScouseFox Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 depends on away support too, can't see sunderland/swansea or the like bringing 3200 on a tuesday if it's on tele
LCFC Rennie Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 depends on away support too, can't see sunderland/swansea or the like bringing 3200 on a tuesday if it's on tele It would be interesting to see if Burnley bring more or less than they brought this season. It was on tele so we put their adult tickeets to £15 and they didn't even bring 1000. Poor effort.

Poor effort. yeah them and qpr both the same situation really, will they go from less than 4 figures or so in a championship promotion fight to suddenly selling 4 times that many in a premier league relegation battle? probably cost more for the same game too.
cc_star Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 depends on away support too, can't see sunderland/swansea or the like bringing 3200 on a tuesday if it's on tele Good point We're hardly much of a draw to most visiting fans
ScouseFox Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 Good point We're hardly much of a draw to most visiting fans you'd be surprised, a lot of liverpool/everton fans are looking forward to it. as well as city fans who always go on about how good an away we are when we draw them in the cup, and a ground not many will have been to before seen as we've only had one premier league season here. i think it'd be a good away if i supported a different team. nobody has to travel like 6 hours to get here, the station is central, the ground is walkable with pub stops on the way, it's easy and decent enough to get a beer after and even go out. the ground is in decent shape and if sold out that away corner can produce good noise and likeable celebrations. price might be a factor, can't see many fans of lower prem clubs being too pleased to be charged 40 odd quid to go to leicester but we'll see.
Happy Fox Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 Good point We're hardly much of a draw to most visiting fans Debatable can see West Bromich Albion, Stoke City, Aston Villa, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Newcastle United all selling out.
Babylon Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 Good point We're hardly much of a draw to most visiting fans WHAT!!!!!!!! We're massive.
Fox92 Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 Good point We're hardly much of a draw to most visiting fans I don't think the ground itself is, but most teams in that division have only played here once so I expect they're excited for a different ground. Location wise we're not too bad, I mean it's not as if we're stuck in horrid positions like Southampton and Norwich. That said, most teams will sell out. Especially the likes of Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Everton and Villa regardless of when the game is.
Fox Ulike Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 WHAT!!!!!!!! We're massive. Massive should be in caps like this: We're MASSIVE!! Apart from that, top post. Plus, I'm sure when I was 14 and hadn't discovered girls I worked out that geographically we were the only club in the country within a 100 mile radius of the big London clubs and the big Northern clubs (Liverpool/Everton/Man Utd/Leeds). This was before google maps though so might be wrong. The point being that we're a fairly good day out for a lot of the big clubs.
LCFC Rennie Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 Good point We're hardly much of a draw to most visiting fans Because I live in Manchester I know loads of United, City, Liverpool and Everton fans and they are all buzzing for Leicester away. They can't wait for the night out afterwards. You wanna see some of the Chelsea fans on twitter, extremely excited to go Leicester away because of past events between us and them. Villa and Stoke are also excited about us.

They can't wait for the night out afterwards. You wanna see some of the Chelsea fans on twitter, quaking in their boots to go Leicester away because of past events between us and them. Villa and Stoke are also excited about us. I find that hard to believe.
LCFC Rennie Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 I find that hard to believe. Worded it wrong, edited it now, I was thinking about something else whilst typing.
Dan Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 It'll be over 30 every time we play a big club but if we end up with the likes of Burnley, QPR, Hull etc... midweek, poorly priced, I could see it being about 27k. The season ticket prices however have given me a little faith.

LCFC Rennie Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 People from Manchester are buzzing about a night out in Leicester? I too find that hard to believe. Manchester is a good night out, but to be honest it gets very samey. Only so much you can do.
Soup Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 People from Manchester are buzzing about a night out in Leicester? I too find that hard to believe. Perhaps it's our fried chicken outlets, apparently there's so many of them you can see them from space.
Fox Ulike Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 Manchester is a good night out, but to be honest it gets very samey. Only so much you can do. Whereas Leicester on the other hand... Are Krystals, the Fan Club, and Sector Dive still standing? If so then I take it all back.
-blue- Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 I'm born and bred Leicester, but in all honesty. ... It's a shit hole.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 The bars in Leicester do a nice enough job but I doubt people from Manchester are nursing partials at the thought of getting in a scrap with some greasy chav with too much wet look gel in his barnet, an ill advised tribal tattoo and a glittery Henleys v-neck who takes offence to you looking at his fancy piece whilst he's barried of two apple Sourz and a Pear VK in Liquid, if I'm honest.
