Unabomber Posted 12 July 2014 Posted 12 July 2014 I've gone for... Silva anytime. £3 returns £33. 0-0 final score. £2.50 returns £30. No chance pal.
Filbert_Ross Posted 12 July 2014 Posted 12 July 2014 I'm concerned fellas. I have £20 on Arg from the start and I don't know if it is worth betting Ger to win the thing as the odds obviously aren't good and at best I would make like £10 to cover my bet, should I just leave it and hope Messi does the job? I'd let it ride.
Unabomber Posted 12 July 2014 Posted 12 July 2014 Yeah think I might as well the potential profit outweighs getting no value on Germany.
Fox92 Posted 12 July 2014 Posted 12 July 2014 No chance pal. Yeah I was thinking that but I had Brazil's forward line and Silva being back in defence in the back of my head
HEGGSY Posted 12 July 2014 Posted 12 July 2014 Lumped on Argentina 2-1 Higuain FGS. When I say lumped I mean I've had £2 on it at 55/1
Unabomber Posted 12 July 2014 Posted 12 July 2014 Oh god I wasn't gonna bother tonight, but just emptied my account on Holland to come 3rd.
Fox92 Posted 12 July 2014 Posted 12 July 2014 I've gone for... Silva anytime. £3 returns £33. 0-0 final score. £2.50 returns £30. lol Would have been totally over in three minutes. He should have gone.
Matt Posted 12 July 2014 Posted 12 July 2014 Need Robben to score anytime. I had Robben to score anytime/Holland to win. Holland to win either half (A shade over evens was great value I thought) And I had 1st half Draw/2nd half Holland win - so obviously lost that one, but I've won one and if Robben scores I should think i've won another one too.
Fox92 Posted 13 July 2014 Posted 13 July 2014 Worst thing is, I didn't go with my initial feeling again. I had 3-0 Netherlands on my coupon at 33/1 and didn't bet because I talked myself out of it. Really need to stop doing that
Matt Posted 13 July 2014 Posted 13 July 2014 Now I did a £10 double on Holland/Germany yesterday, think it pays just under £70, do I back Argentina and draw to guarentee a return, tempted to let it run, I really want Germany to do it anyway. I really do not want Argentina winning it, I said before the tournament anyone but Brazil or Argentina.
sidavies1970 Posted 13 July 2014 Posted 13 July 2014 Alright gents Massive game tonight – probably have to fancy the Germans given their destruction of Brazil the other night. Got a couple of unbelievable offers for it: Germany 11/2 or Argies 13/2 (plus free bet upto £200) – http://btprft.in/FRwcfinalwin Germany 6/1 or Argies 8/1 to lift trophy – http://btprft.in/twGERbf Looking forward to a classic and some money made! Enjoy!
AdamN Posted 13 July 2014 Posted 13 July 2014 Top team goalscorer: Edin Dzeko @ 11/8 Mario Ballotelli @ 13/8 Mario Mandzukic @ 5/2 Alexis Sanchez @ 5/2 James Rodriguez @ 9/2 Karim Benzema @ 6/4 Thomas Muller @ 7/2 Alexander Kerzhakov @ 10/3 £5 @ 20,476/1 Dead heats have reduced the potential winnings to around £3200, but it's just up to Müller now. Currently standing at: Müller 5 Schürrle 3 Hummels 2 Klose 2 Kroos 2 Götze 1 Khedira 1 Özil 1 Wish me luck!
Haydos Posted 13 July 2014 Posted 13 July 2014 huh? Big odd increases for new customers. Pretty straightforward.

Currently standing at: Müller 5 Schürrle 3 Hummels 2 Klose 2 Kroos 2 Götze 1 Khedira 1 Özil 1 Wish me luck! That's a hell of a bet - and something truly extraordinary would have to happen for you to lose it. Has Schurrle even started yet? He's mainly scored off the bench, hasn't he? Klose hasn't looked like scoring a hat-trick - and Argentina haven't looked like conceding 3 goals in a game, for that matter. Highly unlikely worst case scenario that I could imagine would be if Argentina were chasing a 0-1 deficit in the second half and Schurrle nabbed a couple on the counter-attack. Reckon you'll be that little bit more nervous if he's in the starting line-up, though! Good luck - hope you're quids in and expect that to be the case. On a much lower level, my remaining bets (£41 staked in total, £21 back so far): - 2 goals or less in 90 mins + Argentina win = £205 - 2 goals or less in 90 mins + Germany win = £170 - 3 goals or more in 90 mins + Argentina win = £35 - 3 goals or more in 90 mins + Germany win = fvck all! (6- part accumulator £5 @ 33-1, first 5 parts successful + Argentina to win £5 @ 4-1 and S.American team to win £5 @ 4/5)

Currently standing at: Müller 5 Schürrle 3 Hummels 2 Klose 2 Kroos 2 Götze 1 Khedira 1 Özil 1 Wish me luck! Nice 1 my friend, good luck. Dont think you'll need it though. If Argentina are bad enough to concede a few tonight, chances are Schurrle will not score 2 more than Muller.
AdamN Posted 13 July 2014 Posted 13 July 2014 Yeah that Brazil game put me on edge a little bit. I just hope Argentina aren't as inept in defence as Brazil were, and I should be laughing. Also got a Kerzhakov/Messi/Müller treble which should net around £115. On top of a ~£70 win earlier on, plus a couple of really small wins, I'm hoping for a total of around £3400, from £40 worth of bets. If Schürrle could come down with a case of man flu then that'd be just great.
filbertway Posted 13 July 2014 Posted 13 July 2014 Just bang £250 on Schurrle to score 2 or more at 12s. Quids in either way then! Even better if he bags two and Muller gets one.
Turtles Head Posted 13 July 2014 Posted 13 July 2014 Dead heats have reduced the potential winnings to around £3200, but it's just up to Müller now. Currently standing at: Müller 5 Schürrle 3 Hummels 2 Klose 2 Kroos 2 Götze 1 Khedira 1 Özil 1 Wish me luck! Top bet. Definitely cover yourself, maybe £100 on schurrle? Highly unlikely but better to cover it, relax and enjoy the final!

Well done.

AdamN Posted 13 July 2014 Posted 13 July 2014 To be fair, even if Schürrle does get two, I'd still come out with £1600. I'd probably cover it with a bet on Schürrle if it weren't for the (unlikely) possibility of Klose, or even Kroos, bagging a hattrick. Don't fancy being a further couple of hundred (that I can't currently afford) down if that happened. Besides, it's more exciting when you've got something to root for!
Filbert_Ross Posted 13 July 2014 Posted 13 July 2014 Another couple of accounts in the wags name- Germany to lift it 4/1 £10. (WillHill) Argentina to lift it 11/2 £10 (PaddyPower)
