Rob1742 Posted 28 June 2014 Posted 28 June 2014 Just read that an England fan had his ear bitten off at the Uruguay game. This ear biting off thing seems to be a bit of a theme that needs being stamped out . A few years ago I lived in a place where a guy got his ear bitten off outside a nightclub. If you go back to the old days, it was football fans and Stanley knives, now the appeal is to go for a bit of head grisle. Where will all this unsavoury behaviour end?

Aus Fox Posted 29 June 2014 Posted 29 June 2014 I heard the fan just lost his balance and fell onto another fans ear, and really hurt his teeth in the incident.
Rob1742 Posted 29 June 2014 Author Posted 29 June 2014 Where I used to live a guy had a fight outside a night club and got his ear bitten off. It must have been one hell of a bite. The doctors wanted to sew it back on, but because it was such a mess, the guy decided against it and took his preffered option of no ear rather than a disfigured one. The doctors thought he might one day regret his decision, so they actually sewn it inside his stomach to keep the tissue alive. This way, if he ever changed his mind they could open him up and sew it back on. It was in Dubstable, so basically there is a bloke going round there, who you may think only has one ear. Don't be fooled, he actually has two, just one isn't visible. It was years ago though, so maybe he may have taken the decision to get it sewn back on.

I'm assuming if the attacker is caught then he could be facing jail time? Maybe Suarez got off lightly?
Raj Posted 29 June 2014 Posted 29 June 2014 Being called a black coont and you shouldnt be supporting England sounds like something of 20 +years ago Then to have someone try and bite your ear off beggers belief. Hope this coont is found and banned from all football for life.

It does seem to be creeping into our society a bit more or maybe it's because of the political sway towards the right we've had recently that highlights it more?.
Raj Posted 29 June 2014 Posted 29 June 2014 Think its the latter Ron.Its so remote nowadays that when it does happen its such a shock that it can happen. Ive been called paki, wog etc loads but not in the last 10+years. But this at an England game where apparently they travel as a big family is actually horrible
