Praying that either Brazil, Netherlands or Costa Rica win the thing now....can't have Germany (though I respect them immensely) or A*******a taking the honours.

Don't like Brazil one bit and Argentina are highly overrated - Today was probably the best they've played but they weren't anything special, same goes for Brazil. I know i'm discounting Costa Rica in what i'm saying but I don't want them to win it either.

I could understand what these unfortunate northerners were saying but the program makers inserted Sub-titles which I found uncomfortably patronising. Bearing this in mind can any one understand what Gordon Strachan is saying

The Belgians look like a group of talented, but disjointed, individuals. That was why Argentina won IMO. Tactically and work-ethic wise, they AGAIN had it spot on.

Gonna let the double ride out to the finish (unless holland are 3-0 up with 10 minutes to go then I'll probably get scared and cash out haha). I've had the singles so will be returning more than I've staked regardless thanks to the argies. Yeah a score double is always hard to nail but gotta give it a go! Holland should win.

Argentina did 85 mins pf defending and barely strung more than two passes together in the second half! Belgium were nearly as poor as France were, which is very disappointing. Still, quarters for Belgium is a good achievement. They'll be a force for the next decade
