Gary Eatfood Posted 7 July 2014 Posted 7 July 2014 It looks like Top is finally starting to grow weed to subsidise all these new contracts. That'll be Thai weed then?
Soar Fox Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 They're goal line technology cameras. How they supposed to see from up there?
StanSP Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 How they supposed to see from up there? There's this thing called zoom.

PAPA LAZAROU Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 Why does it make us look tin pot? What does tin pot even mean? That phrase gets banded around so much its unreal. Yes it could do with a spruce up but in the grand scheme of things, its not crucial. Grand scheme of things ? what does " Grand scheme of things mean ? that phrase gets banded around so much it's unreal, bit of a tin pot thing to say really .

indierich06 Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 So they're upgrading the hospitality and all the corporate boxes. Meanwhile, we'll still be up to our ankles in piss in those ****ing disgusting toilets and queuing for about an hour to pay £20 for a couple of cold pies and flat pints. But hey - as long as the prawn sandwich brigade are looked after, that's all that matters!

And after spending all that money on the corporate areas that will be the very same place with no one sitting in them if we get off to a bad start.
lcfc278 Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 in the grand scheme of things, a lot of these changes and those made at the training ground over the summer are going to help establish us as a premier league club and make players want to play for us. the word 'premier league club' gets banded around a lot but we always have been playing below our level and this is our time to shine on and off the pitch. Leicester have never been 'tin pot' as some people put it.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 You do know what Hashtags are for, right? Yes, and my point still stands about it being worthy of wincing at.
lgfualol Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 Club are supplying fans with buckets to piss in instead of new toilets
davieG Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 The only upgrade I'd like to see is the removal of the sky blues panels in the West Stand office block, better still remove the office block. Wrong colour and ugly as.........

In the grand scheme of things being banded around cleaning the outside of the ground is a must.
Soar Fox Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 What else was it gonna fvcking be. I didn't ask what they were you ugly looking turd. I asked how were they supposed to see from there.
StanSP Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 I didn't ask what they were you ugly looking turd. I asked how were they supposed to see from there. And I didn't say what they were either. I said how they'll see from there i.e ZOOM. You've rattled yourself through your own stupidity .
Soar Fox Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 And I didn't say what they were either. I said how they'll see from there i.e ZOOM. You've rattled yourself through your own stupidity . Stupidity? Asking how a camera set back in the stadium will be able to determine whether it's a goal or not. They might aswell have just gone to curry's and bought a video camera. If in doubt just zoom in, save themselves £250,000

Soar Fox Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 How else do you think a camera sees things from far away?? Personally I thought the technology was in the goal or on the line.
kingcarr21 Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 How else do you think a camera sees things from far away?? Triangulation Personally I thought the technology was in the goal or on the line. The technology doesnt necessarily 'Zoom' but it follows the flight of the ball using triangulation. Many cameras (i believe 7 per goalmouth)are fitted around the stadium in order to accurately follow the ball. Then they measure the triangulation (angles from the ball to fixed points) in order to determine where exactly the ball is within the goal therefore finding out if it is over the line or not.
Alexikokopops Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 Personally I thought the technology was in the goal or on the line. Hawkeye in football works in a similar way to Hawkeye in cricket and tennis - it relies on multiple cameras around the ground that track the flight of the ball. There was a system (designed by Adidas I think) where the ball had a chip in it and the goalposts had sensors but the advantage of the Hawkeye system is that it doesn't require changing the ball/infrastructure on the pitch, just installing the cameras and the necessary technology to translate those images into the decision (meaning it works with all balls in all stadiums, in theory).
