fleckneymike Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 Courtesy of Rob Mackenzie from the technical scouting team at City. In his 22 sub appearances when City have been leading or drawing, we are yet to lose.
Harry - LCFC Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 Tbf we didn't lose that many games anyway. Can't imagine our defeats would've shot up without him. We rarely looked like letting a point slip, mostly it was us pushing for the winner.
themotivator Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 Have we ever bought him on when we've needed to turn a result around?
MHC Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 Have we ever bought him on when we've needed to turn a result around? Yesterday?
Fox92 Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 Again, he's a player that's very underrated, does his stuff under the radar but does it brilliantly. A good player to bring on, with a lot of experience, and a good professional to have in the dressing room.
Simmo86 Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 Fancy having a player that does his role so well but people still hate him for the sake of having a scapegoat.

Guest Dom10 Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 I remember at Reading last season, his attitude was spot on; when we went a goal down he didn't let our heads drop and tried to get us going again - good professional

Jimothy Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 This should go in the "What grinds my gears" thread, because you know what grinds my gears? People who state that anyone who has questioned Hammond ability actually hates him. I don't think he's a viable long term option in midfield. If we were to have to use him for a long run of games I'd be worried as I don't think he has the quality to perform what we need in that area. Yet somehow that means I hate the guy, and don't appreciate what he's done for the club.
Nalis Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 Dean " thebigsighwhenhejogsonfordrinkybutisactuallyok" hammond Pretty much summed it up for me yesterday. I'm just so happy him and King stood up yesterday. Depending on how bad injuries are it might have been their only chance to impress had they had bad games.
Dickov22 Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 Wigan away last season Could have sworn he started that game?
