zak_lcfc Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 Just stuck a few pound on Betvictor's instabet: Seahawks and NE to win @ 2/1 - Not fully confident in the Patriots although Adrian Peterson won't play they just looked devoid of confidence 2nd half of their last game, the Seahawks I believe can get the job done against the Chargers. EDIT - Right to be worried about the Patriots again, their defense is terrible this year
bovril Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 Just tuned in to watch Atlanta vs Cincy and heard "Nugent misses his second in a row". Get Vardy on ffs.
zak_lcfc Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 Couple of interceptions by New England and they're winning but then again they were winning last week and imploded so hopefully they keep momentum and can keep the offense rolling, also their defense looking slightly better now as well but I still can't trust them Cassell thrown 3 picks today and the Patriots managed to block a field goal attempt and score a TD off of that, looks like the defense finally stepped up a bit!
Lamby Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 Thankfully the Cardinals are picking up all the fumbles, need to keep it down our end for the rest of the game now!
zak_lcfc Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 Lions losing to the Panthers is a surprise, thought they would be a hard team to beat after last weeks performance! I'm still not fully sold on the Patriots just quite yet, they kicked on after what was really a sub standard 1st quarter and their defensive play won them the game in the end Cardinals looked like they've played a good game against the Giants. Looking forward to the Seahawks game, should be straight forward for them but some weird results so far over the last two weeks! Also the Browns just beat the Saints who are now 0-2, I thought they would have started a lot better this season!
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 Wow some very dubious results taking place here.
General Smuts Posted 15 September 2014 Posted 15 September 2014 Great win for Da Bears!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Chug Laguna Posted 15 September 2014 Posted 15 September 2014 Lions losing to the Panthers is a surprise, thought they would be a hard team to beat after last weeks performance! Never checked the line but the Panthers must have been favoured by a good bit, and nearly every pundit picked it to be a Panthers win, if not a blowout?
Chug Laguna Posted 15 September 2014 Posted 15 September 2014 Buccaneers. Love the local talk radio. They've stopped caring.
Chug Laguna Posted 15 September 2014 Posted 15 September 2014 My favourite thing about the Bucs is that - at some point this offseason - grown men sat around a table somewhere in Tampa and one of them said - possibly in jest - the name "Josh McCown"... and then waited, hopelessly, for laughter that never, ever came.
Fox in the North Posted 15 September 2014 Posted 15 September 2014 At least he had a go! I'm still seething at the Jets OC for calling that time out!!!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 Eagles seem to be making a habit of dire first halves and superb seconds. Superb win last night at the Colts.
Lamby Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 RIP Rob Bironas http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000397626/article/former-titans-kicker-rob-bironas-dies-in-car-accident
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Great comeback from the Cowboys tonight!!
docho66 Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 The Patriots offense needs to sort itself out! First home game of the season and we nearly go down to the Raiders. We were shocking. I think it's going to be a long and tough season. Btw... Cowboys nearly equaled Leicester in the size of their comeback last night. However, Leicester's was better, just because...
Chug Laguna Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Would love to know how some of you came up with your NFL teams. There's just something hilarious to me about somebody in England sitting there and going "You know what, the Cardinals. That's the team for me. Onward Arizona."

There's just something hilarious to me about somebody in England sitting there and going "You know what, the Cardinals. That's the team for me. Onward Arizona." I only follow the Cards as I know someone who lives in Phoenix, so if I ever go and visit her then I'll try and take in a game. It's hardly being a glory hunter unlike the Pats/Seahawks/Broncos fans.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Eagles 3-0 for the first time since 2004 (coincidentally the season I started following them (and began to dislike the Pats) after they were beaten Superbowl finalists the following February).

There's just something hilarious to me about somebody in England sitting there and going "You know what, the Cardinals. That's the team for me. Onward Arizona." I think I played out my team choice on here before. I'd watched the Superbowl for years but never picked a team. Then I got sky sports and was watching more and more games. Finally picked the Bears to follow as Jay Cutlers missus is hot and I love the show The League and thats who they follow. Stupid reason to pick a team but having no geographical allegiance I went with it.

We've got friends in Memphis and visit whenever we can.

lgfualol Posted 28 September 2014 Posted 28 September 2014 Tried watching a bit on channel 4. But they have too many British people on it. Who wants to hear an opinion from bloody VERNON KAY?? Also don't understand what is happening, just people running into each other.
Lamby Posted 28 September 2014 Posted 28 September 2014 Quite a decent game for us to watch there, Raiders were just terrible and deserved to lose. Roll on the next game in a month.
