DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 The value of some of our players, will be rocketing, and Pearson will be on everybody's wanted list, should they require a new manager.
Dickov22 Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Kasper 6 Few times he should have come to collect crosses and didn't. Good save from RVP though De Laet 9 Bar his mistake in the first half I thought he was outstanding and the pick of our back 4. Great character to play like that after their first goal Moore 8 Rock. Loved how he turned his back for the Nugent pen. He could bear to look! Wes 8 Rock Koncheskey 8 Contiunes to surprise everyone with his performances. Good on him Cambiasso 8 Sheer class and I love the way he's so vocal Drinkwater 8 Great to have him back Hammond 7 Did his job as usual Nugent 8 Another good performance. Won loads in the air too Ulloa 8.5 class again Vardy 10 Outrageous.
copunk Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 im still stunned!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe what I was seeing, everytime we went forward we looked like we would score, enjoy it, watch it over again and again and again, these moments don't happen very often, I cant describe how happy I am
Kitchandro Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Yeh had to give Vardy a 10, and I'm usually very reluctant to give 10s. His role in so many key moments was astonishing. Created the first goal brilliantly, won both penalties and scored the 4th. Ridiculous. Pearson also gets a 10. Though maybe that's a bit generous since he brought Schlupp on near the end
Corky Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Schmeichel- 6 De Laet- 6 (Poor first half, second was a changed man, bombing forward) Morgan- 7 Moore- 7 Konchesky- 8 (Superb) Hammond- 7 Cambiasso- 8 (Lovely finish, seems a top pro, will be so valuable in the next two/three matches) Drinkwater- 9 (Class act) Nugent- 8 Ulloa- 9 Vardy- 9.5 (Wow, debate maybe over the first penalty but his sterling work for the first goal, his composure for his own and the blistering pace for the second pen, plus his boundless energy, incredible)
theessexfox Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Kasper - 7 - Did fine, not at fault for any I didn't think RDL - 7 - Shocking first half, amazing second half Wes - 7 - Solid and heroic on the whole Moore - 7 - See Wes Konchesky - 7 - Fantastically solid Cambiasso - 8 - Class, leader, screamer Drinkwater - 8 - Great game Hammond - 7 - Did a lot of dirty work, comfortable on the ball Nugent - 8 - Linked up play well and good to get on the scoresheet Ulloa - 9 - Two goals, what more can you say? Vardy - 10 - Unreal performance King - 7 - Wasn't on for long, did well enough James - 7 - Looked good again Schlupp - 6 - Pace stretched a wayward United defence, poor finishing Pearson - 10 - Leicester 5-3 Man United...
Sharpe's Fox Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Gave everyone 8's, 9's and a special 10 for the dodgy barnet bruiser Jamie Vardy.
The Blur Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Kasper 7- Can't do much for their two goals but decent kicking caused them problems. Great positioning for that save from RVP.De Laet 6- Dodgy first half hour, much more solid after that and even threw in some attacks. Need to stop starting games slowly, Simpson must be breathing down his neck.Moore 6- Okish-got caught ball watching for RVP's first but otherwise goodWes 7- Loved it when he clattered into Falcao (I think) Can't do much for Di Maria's goal as he was torn between three United players swooping on the goal.Koncheskey 7- Best defender for us today, he was rarely tested and did not make any mistakes bar conceding that corner.Cambiasso 8 Everywhere in the defence and attack-love how he knows what pass to play before he gets the ball. A great feeling knowing that he will be joining Drinkwater in attacking from centre of the park.Drinkwater 8 Carried on where he left off last season Hammond 6 SolidNugent 7- Played his part in the attack to stretch Man Utd defenceUlloa 8- A pure predator- coolly taken penalty and a bombing header. Won few headers too.Vardy 10 Sensational. In a way, I am bit gutted because now we have unleashed our secret weapon to the rest of Premier League.
SimonMagoo Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 A defense that gives up 3 goals shouldn't get 7s and 8s, but scoring 5 times against Van Goal is bloody awesome.
TOMBlcfc Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Is it just me or do players seem to want to stay away from Koncheskey the longer the game goes on. Fantastic for him to have that sort of presence, fully deserves the plaudits he's currently receiving
foxesfan98 Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Schmeichel - 6 De Laet - 7 Morgan - 7 Moore - 7 Konchesky - 7 Hammond - 6 Drinkwater - 7 Cambiasso - 8 Nugent - 6 Ulloa - 8 Vardy - 9 James - 6 King - 6 Schlupp - 6
moseeds Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 I love Schlupp but his selfishness at the end was a bit annoying considering the other 80-odd minutes was a total team performance. I wanted him to nut Rooney so -1 for not doing that too.
Guest MattP Posted 23 September 2014 Posted 23 September 2014 Schmeichel 6 - Looked to be harshly beaten by a deflection on the first, little he could do about the 3rd, positioning maybe could be better on 2nd.. De Laet 8 - Contrasting two halves, awful in the first, tore Rojo and Di Maria to bits in the second. The weight and accuracy on the ball for Vardy's goal was tremendous. Morgan 6 - Centre back probably the only position on the pitch where we lost out convincly, no great shame though considering the players that were attacking us. Moore 6 - As above. Konchesky 9 - He's been absolutely brilliant so far this season, seems to be relishing being back in the top flight. Hammond 7 - Solid and did the job he was instrusted to do well. Cambiasso 9 - That was the old Cambiasso Inter fans tell you about you. Drinkwater 9 - The new Cambiasso? Brilliant, could end up as our second England player with Vards. Nugent 8 - Gutsy pen (although he'll have to stop the down the midle stuff now as everyone will know) Did a great job running his arse off next to Ulloa. Ulloa 9 - What a bargain this guy looks, flowing with confidence, a huge danger in the opposition box and makes hold up play so easy you barely notice him doing it. Vardy 10 - Maybe the best performance I've ever seen in a City shirt, the winner and involved in all 5 (five) goals against Man Utd. Never stopped running, the cross for the first goal is the best I have seen from any player for years. subs: King 7 - Did everything right and little wrong. James 8 - Excellent, will come into the side for Hammond eventually. Schlupp 5 - As said above, selfishness very annoying considering the other 80-odd minutes was a total team performance.
Bayfox Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 10s all round. oh apart from vards. 12 for him.
