Webbo Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Our best player today was Rafael, apart from him Vardy MoTM.
Bryn Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Kasper 7 de Laet 6 Morgan 6 Moore 7 Konchesky 6 Cambiasso 8 Hammond 6 Drinkwater 7 Vardy 10 Ulloa 8 Nugent 8 Pearson 10
Harry - LCFC Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Never given a player a 10. Vardy definitely deserves it today though.
Dan Gliballs Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Any doubts I had about Cambiasso's attitude towards playing for us are now far out the window.I loved the way he was interacting with the squad prior to kickoff, and acting like a captain on the pitch with players and a club he's been with for a matter of weeks. Totally commited, totally deserves his starting place, top drawer. His goal celebration spoke alot of his attitude towards his club.
DennisNedry Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Kasper - 7 De Laet - 5 defensively, 8 offensively! Morgan - 7 Moore - 7 Konchesky - 7 Cambiasso - 7 Hammond - 6 Drinkwater - 8 Vardy - 10 Ulloa - 8 Nugent - 7 EDIT: Good to see Matty James back on the pitch and playing great again.
weller54 Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Cambiasso was pure class... We are bloody brilliant.. Still can't believe what I just saw!!
Ric Flair Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Clattenburg was exceptional. Showed desire, composure and clinical penalty giving.
RowlattsFox Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Strange because we've scored 5 against Man Utd yet I don't think every one was excellent by any means. Front 3 were excellent. Kasper 7 De laet 8 mainly for his last half hour. defensively poor though. Moore 7 Morgan 7 Konchesky 6 Hammond 6 Cambiasso 8 passed him by at times but came to life. Drinkwater 7 Nugent 8 Ulloa 8 Vardy 9

It genuinely meant something to him. Loved that.
Daz93 Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Kasper 7 - Couldn't do much about their goals. Di Maria made him look stupid, but his distribution was excellent. RDL 3/8 - First half horrific, second half fantastic. Needs to be less naive going into games and stay on his feet. Morgan 8 - Absolute monster. Pulled about in the first 15 but settled well and commanded the defence. Moore 8 - Also great, went on another little run. The boy is going to play for England. Konchesky 8- Dealt well with their overlapping and was really pumped all game. Happy that he's proved people wrong. Hammond 7 - Kept things simple and worked well with Drinkwater and Cambiasso. Think when we're being more offensive he's not very effective. Cambiasso 8 - I still can't believe he's in a City shirt. He really his magic. His touch, vision, organizing are everything you would expect. I'm massively surprised by his passion as well. Could have gone and sat on Man City's bench or something but just wants to play. Drinkwater 8 - He's going to learn so much from Cambiasso. Will definitely become the same type of player. Makes Cleverley look like a non-league player at the moment. Nugent 8 - His job was simple; don't let Daley Blind have time to pass it around like he did against QPR. Worked his socks off and it was so important that he scored his penalty. Happy that he scored otherwise it could have ruined him. Ulloa 8 - How he manages to have such ability for a big man amazes me. Really is a complete forward and compliments our team so well. Makes £8m look like pennies. Vardy 10 - There can't be any other score. Welcome to the big time, Jamie. Amazing to think 3 years ago he was playing for Fleetwood in non-league. Nige 10 - Saw from the start he matched their formation and knew what he was doing. Shows how much work he puts in behind the scenes and with him at the helm, the sky is the limit for us.
Rasmic123 Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 drinkwater was fantastic today, put a hell of a shift in, motm for me
promised land Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Can anyone confirm this fact? Jamie Vardy is the first player to play against FC United of Manchester and Manchester United? Sounds about right.
65RosesFox Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Am I missing something here, people giving Hammond 6's and 7's. Because he did such a good job defensively and doing the simple stuff and breaking up play it gave Esteban and Drinkwater chance to be more attacking. He is our unsung hero this season.
Carl the Llama Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Can anyone confirm this fact? Jamie Vardy is the first player to play against FC United of Manchester and Manchester United? Sounds about right. Someone on the BBC reckons Pilkington has too.
dmayne7 Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Defense 7's. Ritchie turned it around in the last 30 mins so he gets a 7. Konch looking very good. Esteban an 8; looked abrasive and he always wants to play 1 touch football. Ulloa a 9 just for the 2 goals really. Delighted for Nuge to get a goal. Vardy... What do you say?! 4 assists and a goal and somebody gave him a 9?! If that's not a 10 I don't know what is. Shout out to Matty James who looked fantastic. Looks stronger and nippier. Frightening to think that Hammond is our worst central midfielder yet he's more than holding his own in the Premier League! Pearson; a god. Kasper - 7 De Laet - 7 Morgan - 7 Moore - 7 Konch - 7 Hammond - 7 Drinkwater - 7 Cambiasso - 8 Nugent - 7 Ulloa - 9 Vardy - 10 Pearson - 10,10,10!
promised land Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Someone on the BBC reckons Pilkington has too. I read it on some other forum and someone on twitter has posted it too. https://mobile.twitter.com/RKTweets?tw_i=513706940816695296&original_referer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.101greatgoals.com%2Fblog%2Ffact-man-united-had-never-lost-a-pl-game-when-2-goals-up-until-leicester%2F&tw_p=tweetembed
Bluetintedspecs Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 I'll give them all a fookin 10 and the crowd! Get innnnnnnn!!!!
Zapp Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 1st 10 ever from me for vardy 4 assists & a goal. Fantastic
Guest ttfn Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Schmeichel 7 - Made a couple of decent saves, good distribution. De Laet 6 - First half 4, second half 8. Definitely at fault for the first goal, great work for for Vardy's Morgan 7 - First forwards that really got the better of him, but made a couple of great blocks and put his head in where it hurt. Moore 7 - As Morgan Konchesky 8.5 - A revelation. Even beat a man at one point, which is something I never thought I would see. Dean Maria 7.5 - Really helped us get a grip on the game in the second half. Cambiasso 9 - Everything I hoped he'd be. Drinkwater 9 - Fantastic, even when we were 3-1 down he was one of the better players on the pitch. Nugent 8 - Worked his nuts off, stopped Blind from getting in the game, good penalty. Ulloa 8.5 - Great header, good hold up work, nice pen. Vardy 9.5 - Unbelievable, but sort of what a lot of us were expecting from him when he finally got unleashed. subs: King 7 - Solid James 8 - Really good when he came on. Schlupp 6 - Meh.
cjslcfc Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Wanted to give them all 10s but then I thought I needed to emphasise just how good Vardy and Ulloa were. Nugent's work rate phenomenal, Cambiasso knows where his next pass is going before he's got the ball, De Laet showed balls to recover from earlier mistakes, Konchesky solid, Moore a beast, Morgan shaky start but grew into it, Drinkwater his usual self, Hammond a bit slow but also solid. Schmeichel not much to do and quick to get out to RVP's feet early on.
Thracian Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 I'm with the Pearson 10 brigade. He picked Vardy, He was positive even during the time we conceded and he exploited the problems in United's backline superbly. It was obvious to me we'd find it hard to stop them scoring and the task was to score more than them. I think I predicted a 3-2 win if Vardy played and have to apologise for not doing them justice. But I was so proud. This wasn't just an historic win against the best united had to offer. It wasn't a dogged smash and grab or kick and rush. We played so much proper football out there and played them off the park in the last half hour. Vardy gets a 10, - what other score for a guy who scored a goal, made goals and caused so much havoc. Ulloa gets a 10 because two goals in any game is likely to make a difference and the rest were heroes with 8's and 7's instead of super heroes.
