Not been White Peacock yet but it's the old chef from Maiyango so the menu is essentially exactly the same as that was.

Want to try Lilu soon too.

Lilu is bloody fantastic mate. Get the phal, all the waiters come out to watch you eat it and random people dip their finger in the sauce to see how hot it is, great times.

MIlf's and curry are genuinely two of my favourite things.

Is there a good curry house in Leamington?

Ate in a few of the restaurants mentioned in here this week. Tried to target "british" food restaurants for the obvious reason that I don't have that possibility in france.

The windmill inn and the reservoir were quite similar. decent food at a reasonable price. I also enjoyed eating at the Rothley Court mostly because of the incredible building and setting, again the food was decent at a reasonable price. My favourite Brit eat of the week has been the Oat Hill in Market Harborough - the lamb was exquisite again at a reasonable price.

Are there any high level "English" restaurants in the shire?

Anyone been to the White Peacock on the New Walk? If so how was it and is there any parking nearby at a lunchtime?

Went to the White Peacock around a year ago.

There's not much food to choose from, but the service and prices were good.

Anyone know anywhere with duck as a main course in Leicester? Duck as in duck's breast not confit. Or Goose? but that's pretty unlikely.

My mum goes to the Grey Lady in Newtown linford quite often and I'm sure she's had duck there before.

Too late. I'll try it next time I'm over.

I remember they wouldn't let me in there in Jeans a few years ago.

In the end had duck in a place in Melton. Sadly it was overcooked.
