Him and Vladimir Hernandez were the soul of my starter team. I've got Arizala with Maikon Leite now my side has taken more of a Liga MX flavour. Still play Cuero every few games with Quintero to rest them though! He's just been overtaken as my club top scorer by Arizala.

Finnegan Posted 13 October 2014 Posted 13 October 2014 Yeah I had to save up a bit. He was the first "expensive" player I got. Mixed results, bit of an odd one. His finishing isn't great and he feels a bit unpredictable. Not sure what goes on in the background in fifa but can players be inconsistent? Mostly he's unplayable, strong, quick, powerful shot. Occasionally I find him as agile and quickly accelerating as an oil tanker and I just can't finish with him. I think his value is also pushed up by his 4* skills. Overall worth it, though. When he's good he's very good. Ask HEGGSY.
stix Posted 13 October 2014 Posted 13 October 2014 He has similar attacking stats to Abel Hernandez looking at them both, and until I started playing him up top on his own he seemed useless. Rubbish on the turn and his finesse shooting was terrible. More than likely just me being shít though . May need to invest in him soon. As a side, am tempted to get Castillo in the LW position, although Burbano is doing a decent enough job at the minute.

I turned him in to a wide forward so he can play up front without much chemistry loss. Going to do the same when I can afford Arroyo. You're right about finnese shots. That's exactly the problem I have with Arizala, they're shit. When I just leather it he's much better. By contrast, Leite and Cuero love a cheeky sidefoot low by the keeper.

You mean literally just giving the shoot button two quick taps? My success rate one v one is borderline Matty Fryatt levels. Probably my biggest area for improvement. I must miss two out of three and I create quite a few. Frustrating because I create more chances than most people I play but they smash in simple finishes with their gold strikers and I'm bobbins finishing.

The amount of times I've megged the keeper is unreal, but like I say, I feel like I'm cheating a little because of the amount of success I have with it.

I had apparently like 8 gold packs to open and have like 53 players in my "club" and a bunch of other cards that I have no earthly idea what they do. If I pick a first choice squad from the best players its all gold and one of them is like super gold whatever that means. I went to go play the "play your first tournament" thing... and got stuck in like an amateur game at 20 min halves or something against Wolves. Went like 9-0 up in the first half and got tired of the whole thing. I'm not doing it right I'm sure. I need a dummies guide or something because I have no idea what the hell is going on. I get the whole chemistry thing etc and I've got Mourinho as my manager if that matters at all. Just don't really want to play really long games at crap difficulty.

Play online seasons, tournaments or if you're getting started, individual games. You'll get battered until you get the hang of it but it can be addictive and rewarding. Halves are about six or seven minutes I think?
