filbertway Posted 17 October 2014 Posted 17 October 2014 Ha I played a mate on friday night and he accidentally had automatic controls on. Absolutely pasted me 6-0, every shot went in. I don't know how anyone can feel good about playing on the default controls. So little satisfaction. Finally got on the FUT bandwagon the last couple of days. Got myself a steady bundesliga side, having ribery on loan for 3 games was beautiful. Had this game last week as well, no idea how I didn't win comfortably

Finnegan Posted 17 October 2014 Posted 17 October 2014 Regards the assists, once you get used to turning them off you're definitely better without. Pass assist frequently picks the wrong player and shot assist regularly picks out the keeper. Don't think they're as big help as you make out. I turned it off and beat HEGGSY, who had it on, the other day. For fairness sakes I have to add, we're pretty balanced and he's beaten me as much as I've beaten him. If you lost six nil you were probably just playing shit.

Lots of over hit through balls and shots at the middle of the goal.

Tone it down to semi for a bit, you'll get some horror misses but I also found myself picking out the near post more as opposed to just lumping it across the keeper.

I haven't checked his stats but he seemed really quick off the mark(from standing). Just lost 5-4 with my Turkish side. Proper good game.

Just lost 5-4 with my Turkish side. Proper good game. He'd work well with Martinez more than on his own, quick finisher. Would be a ridiculous silver if he was a pinch lower.

I think I need to play around with the default settings as over hit through balls and shots straight at the keeper is what has been winding me up most about the game. Didn't even know they had assists like that in the game!

Didn't even know they had assists like that in the game! Even the fabled double tap shots go straight at the keeper with the assists on full.

Seriously though, I find it hard to believe that people get a thrill out of taking advantage of errors/glitches.

To be honest I'm suprised to see that glitch still there, its been on since FIFA13 Im not saying Im going to do this type of thing all the time, only if Im in a tight spot or need a laugh Heres an antidote just for you lot anyway

Had a great own against me today where Howard and Jags run into each other of the edge of the box, the ball trickles towards the goal line when Howard finally decides to clear it off the line and goal given. The goal decision system said goal when the ball was on the line Lucky I managed to win. What's your Xbox One Gamertag Finners? I've got Heggsy from when we were going to do a pro clubs team a few years ago. Wouldn't mind having a crack at it again.
