suffolk fox Posted 20 October 2014 Posted 20 October 2014 Watched the match yesterday and it was so very nice and refreshing that the referee had the guts to award a rightful penalty against that serial offender Shawcross for holding down his man at a corner. He was guilty of this all game on Ulloa when we played them at the Brittania and he went unpunished for it. Shawcross plays like it all season and regularly gets away with it. Literally grappling his forward from a corner. Stoke were their normal horrible cynical, fouling, bullying selves.
Captain... Posted 20 October 2014 Posted 20 October 2014 Whelan was just as bad, then Moses' dive, awful team, fair play to the ref for pulling up Shawcross, although he has potentially made a rod for his own back, hopefully the referees come out in support of him, follow his lead and start punishing more players for this.
Tom17LCFC Posted 20 October 2014 Posted 20 October 2014 disgusting team, disgusting fans, disgusting club.
ScouseFox Posted 20 October 2014 Posted 20 October 2014 nobody would miss stoke if it was just wiped off the map
Legend_in_blue Posted 20 October 2014 Posted 20 October 2014 I think it's fair to say that Stoke have well and truly outstayed their welcome in the top league of English football. Punching far too high above their weight.
Fox92 Posted 20 October 2014 Posted 20 October 2014 I was surprised at how their fans were when we visited last month. They wanted every decision from the referee.
kingfox Posted 20 October 2014 Posted 20 October 2014 Good to see I'm not the only one who notices it, Shawcross constantly does it game by game, glad he was finally pulled up on it.
Super_horns Posted 20 October 2014 Posted 20 October 2014 Then Mark Hughes highlights it all by complaining he gets picked on!
Gary Eatfood Posted 20 October 2014 Posted 20 October 2014 disgusting team, disgusting fans, disgusting club. You talking about Leeds there?
DennisNedry Posted 20 October 2014 Posted 20 October 2014 Referee undid his good work by 'evening it up' with a terrible penalty award for Moses. Hughes is just a cvnt. Why could he not just admit Moses 'won' it unfairly and that'd he had a word with him, rather than try and justify the dive?

Whelan didn't play did he?!
