Beliall Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 http://talksport.com/football/leicester-hitman-ulloa-switches-international-allegiance-chile-141105122877 Our Leonardo wants to play for Chile Leicester City's summer signing Leonardo Ulloa will soon be playing international football for Chile. The striker, who moved from Brighton for £8m after the Foxes won promotion to the Premier League last season, was born in Argentina but has never played for the South Americans. The 28-year-old has found it impossible to break into the Argentina side that can boast strikers such as Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, Gonzalo Higuain and Carlos Tevez in its ranks. But he has a Chilean grandmother who has helped him claim dual citizenship to allow him to switch allegiances. The striker can now link up Arsenal man Alexis Sanchez and West Ham star Mauro Zarate who also gained a Chile passport recently. Donut Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 Excellent group of players in the Chile squad, fair play to him if he is being looked at to make his international bow.
Dan Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 Chile are genuinely one of my favourite sides to watch. Now I've got a proper excuse to watch them when others want the TV as "they play a high pressing 3-4-3 including midfielders in a back three" doesn't exactly go down well.
lcfcsnow Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 I'd be surprised if he received many (if any) caps, he doesn't fit the way they play.
broughtonblue Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 There goes the chant. GoodWhy is the chant going?
Nalis Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Nah,he's gonna be naturalised for England and then, at 2018, he'll score the winner against the Argies in the World Cup Final where he'll passionately kiss the Three Lions before ripping off his shirt to revel an undershirt saying 'Always the Falkands' AM I ****IN RIGHT LADS????!!!???
ADK Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 So that's why he was wearing a poppy and cambiasso wasn't...
Nalis Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 So that's why he was wearing a poppy and cambiasso wasn't... Exactly mate, for his England debut he's getting the lyrics of Jerusalem tattoed on that massive forehead of his.
GingerrrFox Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 A front 3 of Vargas/Ulloa/Sanchez would be dynamite to be fair.
Bert Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 So that's why he was wearing a poppy and cambiasso wasn't...Cambiasso wore a poppy first half but changed shirt second half.
