Leicester City is looking for supporters to join the 2014/15 Fans Consultative Committee (FCC) and help shape the future of the Club.

A diverse and all inclusive range of members are needed to represent the whole supporter base through the Fans Consultative Committee (FCC) this season and the Club are keen to encourage supporters from all backgrounds and genders to become involved.

The Committee plays an important role in helping the Club better understand the thoughts and feelings of supporters throughout the year and consults with its members on a wide range of topics.

Members will be selected from each stand at King Power Stadium (East, West, Family, Spion Kop) across each of the following age groups:

• 18 – 30

• 31 – 50

• 51+

As well as members from the general stands, we are also looking for two Fosse Club members to represent their areas.

For continuity a number of current members will be retained in order to help form the Committee and assist the transition of the new members.

There will be regular meetings throughout the season, with the first one taking place on Wednesday 26 November 2014.

Meetings take place in the evening at 6.30pm and generally last for us to two hours.

The FCC represents a fantastic opportunity for supporters to have their say, and for you to ensure that your views are heard.

To apply please contact us before the deadline of Friday 14 November 2014 by email at [email protected] putting ‘FCC Application’ in the subject line or online here.

I'm on the committee at the minute and would highly recommend that you apply. Happy to answer any questions as well.

Will be applying again - this time to represent Union FS.

What is the actual membership of Union FS? It looks like far too small a group to have representation but maybe I'm underestimating the numbers.

Around a hundred.

But an organised group trying to do the right thing for club, players. fans alike.

If more backed it and joined we could soon have a great match day feeling.

At the end of the day why should a new fan group not be given space are they not working for the same thing.

Not having a go at you wookie.

I'm a member of Union FS but I'm not a very active one, speak to C-man or the union FS account if you want to know more

As Wookie has said we have just over 100 members. It appears smaller from the outside as not all are regular match goers (for whatever reason).

We have been told by the Club to put forward a member to join the FCC so I would hope that they take us under consideration!

Next time you go can you ask them why they have put the money given to them to help away fans into coaches that help a few rather than everybody. Thanks

Or alternatively you could stand on the Committee yourself and have your voice heard rather than moaning on here.

Yeah that's easy enough with spending half of my time in Sheffield and half in York. FFC was created to get the fans thoughts across, and by me passing on a message like that, it will hopefully work.

Have these only just been made available?

They were issued on Nov 7th, often the case they take months to appear. Still not posted on the official site yet.

We also have to regularly chase for meeting dates to be set, based on the "quarterly concept" there should have been a meeting in October, but the selection of new committee members has only just started.

It mentions a new ticketing system 2015-16. Any ideas what that could be?

Another one? I swear if it's another ****ing change to the away priority system lol

No meeting in the last 4 months and a meeting in July with minutes in November is all you need to see, the FCC is pointless fig leaf to fan involvement.
