He signed the contract in august but he only joined spurs this month, and PL clubs can't buy a player and loan them out in the same window to another PL club. Though I doubt they'd let him go anyway

Could be a good move since the Maloney deal fell through He spent his youth career at Leicester I believe, he was born here too so I wouldn't be surprised if he was a Leicester fan and has a lot of family here. Could be something in this.

If you look at his past comments his bitterness/disappointment was directed more at individuals, (now long since EX staff)....He's similar to Luke Varney in that LCFC would be a dream move for him! A player like that could be what we need right now, someone who loves the club enough to give 110% all the time
