chrishlcfc Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Mate who I go football with, knows someone who works at Blackburn and he says we are after there centre half Grant Hanley, I don't claim to be ITK or anything just thought i'd post the rumour that I have heard, it would fit with what we need a strong centre half, but is he up to premiership standard?

StanSP Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Blackburn fan I know on another forum doesn't rate him. Not keen whenever he starts and is a 'liability' and is 'woeful'. Someone who won't be dropped because he is captain there. We can and need to do better.

LCCFox96 Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Every time I've seen Hanley play I've thought he was absolutely shocking. I can remember him playing in our 3-0 home win over Blackburn two seasons ago and he had a nightmare at centre half - bearing in mind that was also in the middle of our long fruitless run building up to the playoffs - and I haven't been impressed with him home or away last year. Hopefully we can attract a better centre half.
