Claridge Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Lawerence instead of albrighton has got to be the most stupid thing I ever seen by a sober person.
Ian W LCFC Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Bit extreme They're similar players, although I too believe Albrighton should've come on.
ChrisWoodIsClass Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Just can't believe he dropped Albrighton in the first place
Unabomber Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 You got a legit source on him being sober pal?
Fox92 Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Just can't believe he dropped Albrighton in the first place Got to say, I do agree, Albrighton was decent enough last week and created a few chances. He does lack strength though which someone else mentioned in another thread earlier.
sdb Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Definitely a poor call. It was at the time and it certainly was in hindsight.
Bayfox Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 worse than any micky adams..... yeah maybe this time you have a point.
SecretPro Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 The mind boggles. The Ulloafor Albrighton swap comes to mind also. Substitutions are definitely not Nigels strong point.
fazzyfox Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 The biggest groan I heard was for the surreal Taylor era substitution, "Replacing Roberto Mancini......Ade Akinbiyi", the equivalent of Lewis Hamilton driving his Mercedes into the pit lane and re-emerging on a milk float.
Countesthorpe Fox 1884 Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 When we're winning maybe make that type of substitution but when we're chasing the game and need a goal and we bring on our most physical player in the air who's out best header why do we not out on our best crosser of the ball Albrighton! I appreciate that Lawrence might be one for the future but I think it's a too big jump too soon Also fell for kramaric, he was subbed just at the wrong time where Stoke scored and shut us out immediately so he couldn't get any real chance to run at the Stoke defence
artursteppe Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 Got to say, I do agree, Albrighton was decent enough last week and created a few chances. He does lack strength though which someone else mentioned in another thread earlier. Lacks strength? Knocky is HUGE and a beast!
Dickov22 Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 Albrighton wasn't even that great against the Villa. He's all about effort, very limited though in terms of ability. Just committed loads of stupid fouls. Knockaert had a much better game than he did.
Fox92 Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 Lacks strength? Knocky is HUGE and a beast! I didn't mention Knockaert?
Babylon Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 I do find it funny that Pearson has been battered all year for the "pointless" signing of Albrighton, and now he's not brought on in one game it's an outrage. I'd have brought him on myself but I do think people are going way over the top about it.
EGBFitness Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 Malachi for Kevin Poole? I lost all faith in MON straight after this!!
