CosbehFox Posted 28 January 2015 Share Posted 28 January 2015 It's gonna be murder on that train though you are going to have City's 'train' support on a three carriage rattler.

Far too little margin there for a train that is likely to be overcrowded and heavily policed, I wouldn't risk it.
Maybes Posted 28 January 2015 Share Posted 28 January 2015 Far too little margin there for a train that is likely to be overcrowded and heavily policed, I wouldn't risk it. 20 minutes? Give over. We will be packed in like sardines though. Maybe they will run some football special. Doubt it though that would just make too much sense.
The Railway Man Posted 28 January 2015 Share Posted 28 January 2015 We really ought to. It's only an hour down the road and should be a lot cheaper than when we played them in the league. Plus it's the Cup and I fvcking love the Cup. People just can't be arsed to get up on Sundays, work the next day so it's not an all dayer, Sat 3pm and this is one you are right up for having a beer on Friday night, just not the same midday Sunday. Far too little margin there for a train that is likely to be overcrowded and heavily policed, I wouldn't risk it. Hardly some massive risk is it? Absolutel worst comes to the worst you'll miss about 10-15 minutes and pay an extra £6, would even be more than in time getting in to New Street late and just getting a cab to the ground. Voll Blau Posted 28 January 2015 Share Posted 28 January 2015 They'll have to put on extra trains. Sure I can remember special trains back from Birmingham-based games in the past.

Looking at it a 45 minute walk from New Street gets you there, still won't be bothering with the trains

BrummieFOX Posted 29 January 2015 Share Posted 29 January 2015 Great stuff, sensible pricing for once. Only annoyance is they're selling the North Stand Upper first. my first choice would be Doug Ellis lower but musn't grumble
AndWhat? Posted 29 January 2015 Share Posted 29 January 2015 Atmosphere will be split with it being in two stands which is a bit annoying. Wish they'd just give us the Holt End, only chance of it ever selling out again.
