Master Fox Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 If he's a half decent player there is absolutely zero chance he will come. We rarely win a transfer battle either. Basically we're just rubbish in the transfer market.
GingerrrFox Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 After watching Nzonzi completely overpower our midfield it's no surprise that we are interested in a strong, powerful anchor who also has very good passing ability. Easily an upgrade on King, Drinkwater and Hammond.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Southampton have 4 players on loan with Djuricic They aren't from Premier League clubs though. There's a cap of two PL loans in per season, no more than one from any club.
Guest Bilo Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Hamer Simpson Huth Wasilewski De Laet Capoue Mahrez James Cambiasso Lennon Kramaric Difficult to argue that wouldn't represent an improvement tbh.
Stevosevic Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 "@Dorselator: Apologies #lcfc fans. Can't broadcast live at the mo coz of some local "fans". Aaron Lennon looks a dead deal, Etienne Capoue a long shot."
MPH Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 They aren't from Premier League clubs though. There's a cap of two PL loans in per season, no more than one from any club. First time i have seen someone right that all day!
Stadt Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 No reason why King or any of our more attack minded central midfielders couldn't play that role if they're being relieved a little more of defensive duties. I think even if he was freed up a little (he played at the tip of the diamond didn't he?) I think he is still too safe in possession, Drinky isn't confident/good enough so I don't think we have a player capable of receiving the ball from deep and actually creating a decent chance
SecretPro Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Deal with WBA fallen through...quick open up shop again...please.....please?....PLEASE!
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Deal with WBA fallen through...quick open up shop again...please.....please?....PLEASE! If he's turned WBA down I really don't fancy our chances
LCFCCKEANO Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 If he's turned WBA down I really don't fancy our chancesMight be he has done that due to Fletcher signing and a lack of guaranteed football, or a dislike of style of football or location, would really have been worth going in for late, as an only option for him, but instead let's just not bother cus cba

I thought what a bad impression that must be for a potential signing at the time - Obviously there's more to it than that, but it did look awful!!
