Capoue all day long. Exactly the sort of player I've wanted since we got promoted. We don't need another winger in my opinion.

Unless of course Spurs wanted one of ours in exchange. We had any wingers play well against them recently?

There's no such thing as "just bothering today" the club would have expressed interest long ago, they put together a list of players, and then make enquiries, come deadline day the interest is already there and the club then make the bids int he order of the list.

Without having the exact data to hand it is a stab in the dark, but going on 'rumoured' wages of an average PL footballer I bet we are about 20% down on most PL clubs net outlay per player each week in wages.

I wouldn't be surprised if Capoue is on about £75,000 to £80,000 p/w (at least) so we have got to be prepared going into negotiations with offers of around (rumoured) £30,000 tops that it won't be anywhere near enough to secure top players UNLESS we can strike an agreement over wage splits in loan deals.

That is the reality of the Premier League.

I think it's wortg the few extra quid a week if he keeps us up!

Let the owners know its guaranteed, I'm sure they will stump up then.

In the last 25 minutes, Sky Bet have seen a lot of money on Etienne Capoue to move to West Brom. The Tottenham defender is now 1/4 to sign for the Baggies before the window shuts this evening, and 7/2 to stay at White Hart Lane.

Do you not see any of the threads about deadline day or wishlists, tool!

Does it really matter to you? Moan about something that matters,

Coming to us on loan for either would give them star status if they managed to keep us up. Especially Lennon.

Going to any other club on loan they would just "fit in" if they come here they could become a legend!

I will be absolutely astounded if he's on as much as 75/80K

On another note, suggested him the other week - exactly what we need, essentially a better Dean Hammond (not to discredit the Hamster)

We need a player that can rub with the ball in the centre, not another defensive/industrious player

No reason why King or any of our more attack minded central midfielders couldn't play that role if they're being relieved a little more of defensive duties.
