Frank to be Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Ok so we're all a little frustrated with today's unlucky defeat, thought I'd change the subject to give us some much needed relief! Just wondered what people thought of making some our chants a bit more family friendly. I know it's a football stadium but still there is not always any need for profanity. Examples: Instead of "come on Leicester boys, make some *** noise", how about "let's all make some noise"? Works just as well but no swearing. The Ulloa song (if we ever sing it again ), instead of "he cost a *** fortune", how about "he cost a lot of money"? The added advantage here is that it rhymes better as well. I really don't like "get into them, *** them up". If we do have to chant that then why not "get into them, rough them up", or better yet just "come on blues, try your best"? Any othe ideas?
Ashley Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Wheels on the bus go round and round. Have a word with yourself it's a football stadium you will hear swearing no matter what if you're not willing to accept that don't take kids simple.
Ian W LCFC Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 I know FoxesTalk always turns into a dark place after a loss but bloody hell.
lgfualol Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Personally I think there should be a noise limit. My little Suzy has delicate hearing and I think it is selfish that everyone shouts at the ground.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Who ate all the pies?Who ate all the pies? You fat... little monkey. One of the fans near me at Paul Gascoigne at Walshy's testimonial after realising he was surrounded by kids. --- As for the fruitful language used by a section of supporters at normal football matches, your complaints will be taken under advisement. Now rough off.
Countesthorpe Fox 1884 Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 It's the football there will be swearing!!!!!!!

Football has already suffered hugely from sanitisation and over-protectiveness, we don't need anymore. Grow up and stop getting upset over a few very unhurtful swear words.
