Burnley have beaten Man City...says it all really

Amazing what a team can do when a team has a manager, who know his best formation, how to get the best out of the players.

And don't set up not to lose every week like pearson, so we get beat by the big boys with a whimper, and lose against the lesser sides, because we set up to cautious.

So dissapointing again today; I didn't boo and I didn't walk out early but you can hardly blame people for doing either.

Yes we kept a clean sheet but they were so crap and even got reduced to ten men... how didn't we win?! Absolutely awful from start to finish.

If we stick with this idiot in charge we won't get half of the point tally required to stay up! Last year means nothing now... History... It's all just history and that's all we have... Again!!!

Playing five at the back was a cardinal sin that was being ridiculed on here as far back as just after the Man City game - almost in that it surely couldn't be done against Hull - yet what did Pearson do today?? No goals scored either - which was the problem!! Mark Warburton??

Just seen that Burnley have won.

They have picked a formation, a first team and played out their skins all season.

Top marks go to Dyche.

We today were utterly dreadful. I was literally bored. When it comes to our midfield and final third setting up chances for each other, we are clueless.

Embarrassing season.

The board have been unbelievably patient. We keep talking about the lack of alternatives, well, if our aim is to appoint a manager who can one day establish us in the PL, then the next 10 games could be a great trial period.

Either way, Pearson is in a small group of spectacularly poor PL managers. He's one of the worst ever. Those managers - the likes of Wilson, Boothroyd, Davies, Gorman among them - seldom get, and seldom deserve a second chance at this level because they are so remarkably rubbish. Pearson comes into that category.

There's been over a ten point swing between last season and this season as regards Burnley and us, in spite of our greater resources. It's a sign as to how far backwards we've gone, and a warning for those who think Pearson will buck the trend of managers getting sides relegated and then proving to be utterly useless in the 2nd tier. Even if he does, there's every reason to think he'd be a disaster all over again at this level.

Get rid of him as a matter of urgency. I'm among the many who were wrong to support him for as long as I did (I see there are still some struggling to accept this, but it's more glaringly obvious than anything I've ever seen in my 30 years of going to games). But there's no point sitting helplessly by and hoping things get better by themselves, as he has. There have been precious few indications of his willingness to address clear, unavoidable weaknesses in the squad. We can start to build for the future now, and if we have any ambition at all he shouldn't form part of it.

Said it all along...back as far as late October when Pul is was available.

Everyone ridiculed me but who can honestly say they disagree with my judgement now nor would love to turn back the clock and see a change....Pearson just was not ready...sorry harsh because he got us up but loyalty in football gets you no where these days as we are testament to.

I would like to but I can't, I started to lose all faith in him about a month ago

A four year old kid behind me shouted out  "You don't know what you are doing". It made me laugh so much, but, he was right.

Clueless, Leaderless and now Hopeless.

What a waste of a season

Nothing short of a shocking disaster

Ridicule, on here, for views which don't concord with the mainstream is normal mate.

When people look back at some of the posts made over this season they will see their have been some pearlers.

Myself, I'll never forget the night of Pearsongate....

Haha, not very lady like I admit but a woman nevertheless.

I just cannot remember being at a game that boring for a long time. Think the last one was the 0-0 draw at home to Donny when Matty Fryatt broke his jaw.

You knew my view...way back when...could not and still can not understand why most people were so pro Pearson.

My only theory is what I said back then...previous manager merry go rounds at the club have scarred/scared people

pearson is not at fault

I agree! He can't help being inept... That's the whole point of being inept you can't help it!
