Don't get me wrong, we've got enough of them on here but they are rightly laughed at and ridiculed. Where as over there they seem to be some of the leading forum members. But, horses for courses. If people don't like it they are free to use one of the other forums.
Jfox Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 No matter how much you might hate the manager, players, owners etc of your club, no true fan would ever want their club to lose or fail. If you intend to turn up to a game wanting us to lose, please don't turn up.
Silverdaz Posted 23 March 2015 Author Posted 23 March 2015 a bloke called bnet cracks me up he never says anything postive im sure he is really a forest fan
cityfanlee23 Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 a bloke called bnet cracks me up he never says anything postive im sure he is really a forest fan He was on here originally, made himself alot of enemies very quickly EDIT - The majority of his debates ended up with personal abuse...
Babylon Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 He was on here originally, made himself alot of enemies very quickly EDIT - The majority of his debates ended up with personal abuse... He freely admitted on Bentleys that he came on here to post a load of stuff that would wind people up and get a reaction.

If you intend to turn up to a game wanting us to lose, please don't turn up. I don't think m/any fans want their club to fail. I doubt there is one City fan who wouldn't be pleased if we were having a successful season.
hackneyfox Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 a bloke called bnet cracks me up he never says anything postive im sure he is really a forest fanHow many years have you been paying with your own money to watch Leicester?Fairly sure Bnet has been going longer than you. He wants Pearson out because he loves the club, doesn't make you the better supporter.
Voll Blau Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 How many years have you been paying with your own money to watch Leicester? Fairly sure Bnet has been going longer than you. Weirdest excuse in the book for people to justify bizarre opinions on football.
hackneyfox Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 My point is that Bnet is still going decades after his first game, something that the vast majority of younger fans (and that applies to this board as well) won't do. Everyone believes they will follow the club home and away till they draw their final breath, the fact is that is not the case, most stop when they get a family or work takes precedence etc.

Even though it would be impossible for me to go for 4 decades?
Corky Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 If sacking a manager is dependent on one thrashing instead of four narrow defeats then you have to wonder whether the powers that be have a clue what is going on.
Rhysm Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 Bentleys is as extreme in it's "Pearson out" stance as this one is in it's "Pearson in". As many have stated, football is about opinions, and sites like this an Bentleys give you an insight into why people might have a differing one from yours which for me is what makes them interesting. To state that someone is not a fan because their view differs from yours strikes me as a tad arrogant.
RonnieTodger Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 This "Coco the clown" insult that's caught on is probably the most embarrassing thing in the history of Leicester City.
Babylon Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 Bentleys is as extreme in it's "Pearson out" stance as this one is in it's "Pearson in". This place is 50/50... hardly extreme.
hackneyfox Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 This place is 50/50... hardly extreme.Only recently has it been 50/50, more like 80/20 a couple of weeks ago, the Hull game saw a few come over to the dark side.
Webbo Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 This place is 50/50... hardly extreme. But some of the "in" are pretty extreme about it.
hackneyfox Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 There are many of us that are, mines only 2 decades does that make me less of a fan than someone who had been going for 4 decades? Even though it would be impossible for me to go for 4 decades? How many that you went with regularly 15 years ago still go?I've been a paying fan for just under 40 years now, in that time I've probably seen a hundred or so 'live and breathe' followers slowly fall away, probably know 10 from Rugby who still go.
Rhysm Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 But some of the "in" are pretty extreme about it. This is more my point.
Babylon Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 But some of the "in" are pretty extreme about it. So are some of the out! Anyway... lets not go down this avenue again.
Voll Blau Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 How many that you went with regularly 15 years ago still go? I've been a paying fan for just under 40 years now, in that time I've probably seen a hundred or so 'live and breathe' followers slowly fall away, probably know 10 from Rugby who still go. And so that makes someone's opinion less valid? The fact that they may or may not attend games regularly in the future depending on how the circumstances of their future life, which can't currently be predicted, may or may not change. Self-castration coupled with a Euromillions win looks to be the way to go if you want your opinion to be heard by older fans then.

I've been a paying fan for just under 40 years now, in that time I've probably seen a hundred or so 'live and breathe' followers slowly fall away, probably know 10 from Rugby who still go. I went regularly 15 years ago. I do see why that makes my opinion more valid than someone who has been only watching since League 1.

bovril Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 There's some very funny stuff posted on Bentley's and some posters who know their football. There's plenty of dubious stuff too, like on here. I don't understand the Foxestalk obsession with BR and vice versa.
