Aj1927 Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 Points win prizes. 10 becomes 11. Granted neither Cardiff or You guys played well yesterday,we still managed to extend our lead at the summit. I still reckon the cup run could sidetrack your concentration.
jonthefox Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 Really pleased for you. Me too. Second place is fine by me anyway.
foxesfan1989 Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 I'm concentrating on the teams below us, 2nd place is all I care about now. Fully expect Cardiff to win the league so don't pay much attention to them.
Aj1927 Posted 10 February 2013 Author Posted 10 February 2013 By the time you play in the league next,Hull could be 6 points better off. And we could be 14 clear if you guys.
Charl91 Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 You're suprised? Only lunatics and optimists thought we could catch you And Hull could be 6 points better off. On the other hand, they could be 0 points better off and we could have 2 games in hand. Doesn't make much difference when they are played, to be honest.
Mark_w Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 I prefer the 'didn't sell their soul for a short run in the Premier League' table...
pSinatra Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 They say that there are two things certain in life & I'm not talking about about death & taxes. Leicester will never win the FA Cup & Cardiff will always bottle it. 48 pts still to play for!!
Jimothy Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 Well done, looks like you'll win the league. Point still stand on your deleted threads and this thread, it's always dangerous to count your chickens before they hatch. And especially in your case, where you're going to others telling them your unhatched chickens are better than theirs, when you have a history of your chickens not hatching. I would never dream of doing that. To carry on the analogy, enjoy your eggs, knowing full well they'll probably hatch into the chickens you want, but just be aware there is always a chance you might drop them all.
Aj1927 Posted 10 February 2013 Author Posted 10 February 2013 Yeah I wish we (all Cardiff fans) hadn't sold our soul . I wish we owned by a local billionaire... Like you guys!! That we didn't have to sell our stadiums name to the highest bidder...Like you guys!!! And that we didn't have club shops in airports in Thailand..... Like you guys!!! ;-) Face it, your in the same boat as us... If your owners want to change elements of your club THEY WILL. And like us, there's not a damn thing you can do about it.
Guest Bilo Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 Reading won the league last season and West Ham went up via the play-offs. Guess who's happier with the way their season is going. It's all about what happens in the summer and how geared up your team is for long term stability and improvement. We've a very young team that plays attractive, attacking football. If the team stays together and we're promoted, there's potential for a side that can emulate West Brom and Swansea.
Libertine Dream Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 Lets all have disco, lets all have a disco na na na

The Blur Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 By the time you play in the league next,Hull could be 6 points better off. And we could be 14 clear if you guys. Or alternatively, Hull win both games and could be 6 points better off than us and only five points behind your lot if you lose both games. We then win our two games in hand and end up five points behind your lot with both of us needing to play your lot as well. Swing and roundabout works both way you know.
The Doctor Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 Well done, at the moment you have 11 eggs set to hatch into chickens, but guess what - there's still 16 games (roughly a third of the season) to play, bad shit could happen to those eggs. I'm not saying we will catch you, but with a third of the season still to play it's possible. Or alternatively, Hull could be 6 points better off us and only five points behind your lot. We then win our two games in hand and end up five points behind your lot with both of us needing to play your lot as well. Swing and roundabouts work both way you know, one of our games in hand (on hull) is against them...

Guest BlueBrett Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 I give us a better chance of catching Cardiff than I give City of catching Manu

How did the best team in Wales by a country mile get on yesterday ?Now fook off ,you've bored me.
Guest shearfox Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 shut up redbird, you lost your identity, I would rather be second and still be blue thank you
Dan Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 I'd take second playing blue over top playing in red. Not even a debate for me.

Nothing wrong with getting investment from a business, especially with owners like ours. You seem to be missing the point. You've changed your history, the one thing synonymous with Cardiff City Football Club...gone pathetic. Are you gonna relocate to Malaysia next or something?
dogadug Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 BAAAA! What 3 teams do you want to get promoted?
