  1. I have no idea what you want me to say now to be honest. All I know is that the QR works, it works at other grounds too. Honestly I couldn't care less and the whole reason they don't want you to have a physical card is so when you don't go you are more likely to sell it back so they can then make a profit on your ticket. You have a card and you're more inclined to hand it over to a mate or just leave the seat empty. It's profiteering off seats that they have already sold. You only had to look at the amount of advertising their was to sell your ticket for the arsenal game!
  2. That's fair enough. Although I know a lot Arsenal fans that make £1000's selling their tickets on things like stub hub.
  3. Right ok mate, well currently it works. I couldn't care less about next season to be honest as I won't be going. But ask yourself this. If it's THAT why aren't the likes of Arsenal, Man City and Chelsea not using it? They are all looking at things like finger print and eye retina scans (believe Spurs have trialled this already)
  4. They don't. These don't anyway. There are two types of QR codes. Static and Dynamic. KP uses static the likes of ticket master for gigs are using dynamic. Of course it's a different QR per game but they haven't got the tech to use dynamic currently
  5. Do some research and back them then. Best festival I've had in years over £500 up over the 4 days and max I had was a fiver a race.
  6. Unofficial?? Why does that matter ? And it won't stop as they don't have the technology in the turnstile. It is the easiest way.
  7. Screenshot. turn NFC off screenshot to include your QR code. Scan to go in as normal
  8. A screenshot works currently. It's only the QR code you need to get in.
  9. Just cancel your direct debit. Pretty sure there is 1 payment left this year then just cancel it.
  10. So it's no choice on digital then unless you have a reason to. Glad I'm not bothering.
  11. The ground isn't perfect but that shouldn't matter, clean round and it will win.
  12. Skybet are taking it on by boosting it to evens so there is some doubt obviously! It would sum the festival up. For me this is what racing is about. You do your research and something like that could have spiked your interest. Solid horse on the flat, decent money purchase and Tony Bloom doesnt often buy duds. Would have been worth a couple of quid EW. Its been a great festival to watch as hardly been any dead rubber races!
  13. First time over hurdlers and does that
  14. Priced up and Star Sports are owned by the same people. They are all dodgy AF to be fair. But yeah he is good for the sport, it needs people like him really.
  15. He the Irish lad that comes in on a helicopter? If so then year I don't trust anything anyone puts on with StarSports they are dodgy as they come. I don't mind the racing blogger as least he seems to care about the horses and does show his loses too.
  16. That's obviously solid knowledge and if you put the effort in you can find value. But yeah sticking 20k on a 4/6 favourite and celebrating like your in the know is scary as these guys have 300k followers that even if 10% pay for his service he is rolling in it.
  17. its ridiculous isn't it. Seen one charging 180 quid a month! for them to back the favourites! tipping all 28 races too. Any one that has real insight does not have it on every race. Like the old saying throw enough shit something will stick.
  18. tell you what i am enjoying the most about these favourites getting beat are these so called tiktok tipsters finally being shown for knowing nothing about racing. Whacking £'s on favourites for likes and now losing a lot. I don't believe the majority of bets are even really as i definitely don't trust the guys at Star Sports as that's where they started to! Hopefully people will now stop paying the £100+ a month for their 'tips'
  19. should have ran in the Gold Cup! But imagine that will be next year.
  20. If Brian Hughes rides at Cheltenham i always back him, he rarely comes south so must be for good ones and certainly didnt let me down then!
  21. Yeah I agree there definitely will be a bit (look at Langer Dan last year!) but definitely not at something this high profile
