I think that might not be down to loyalty and more to do with being frightened of having to learn a new language / being out of their comfort zone. Can't really imagine Roonpig speaking Spanish while eating pimientos de padron and sipping on a nice Rioja. Gerrard wanted to move a few times but bottled it due to numerous death threats, I believe.

You could argue that Giggs didn't have the courage to play anywhere else. At least Beckham tested himself in different leagues and cultures. Also Ferguson wanted to sell Beckham so he didn't really have the choice of being a one club player.

You know the manager confidence thing (88%), does that mean 12% of people who voted actually want Rodgers to be sacked? It does ask you if the manager should stay or go. I just get the feeling if we were to lose the next game half of our fans would want him gone. Is that the case? We seem incredibly quick to adore the team and coach and then to quickly want blood. Or are people just in a huff because we were rubbish so they just mark all players as a 1 and say they want the manager gone? It wasn't that long ago that we won the FA Cup and Community Shield. .

They should make him stay forever. It's not rocket science. If I were in charge, I'd make sure they'd all be staying forever. Apart from Perez. I'd sell him to Barnsley for 200 mil. Invest that in an even bigger stadium. It's just common sense.
