What a team this is. Vichai would be proud
-
Whatever the result today and for the next few games, please can we have no negativity and applaud the players week in week out as no one can imagine how hard it must be for them.

How are you feeling about the Cardiff match?
shailen replied to fox in the sox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Vichai would have wanted us to win and keep climbing up the table so that is what I want - however I understand the situation and so whatever the result I think we applaud the players for their bravery to play so soon after such a big loss to the club and to them. -
You’ll Never Walk Alone Tribute V’s Burnley

Not sure if it could happen but I think it would be fitting if Bocelli could sing time to say goodbye -
We were on top of the world for 1 or 2 seasons. Everyone was only talking about Leicester city. We are now a well established PL team with a solid base for the upcoming years. Vichai has built that. Not only that - but you invested in the fans offering free gifts at your own expense and investing heavily into the community with generous donations. Thank you for transforming our club and city, Vichai.

That would be an amazing tribute

Vichai allowed us to dream and delivered the most spectacular moments any fan could ever dream of. We have had champions league football at the KP, moments that supporters will never forget. He was truly instrumental in defining this clubs destiny. Whilst I pray that somehow he's okay and wait for official news, I don't think anyone will forget what this guy has done for us fans and the city in general. ????

I'm still in utter shock. These owners have been unreal and I pray that whoever was on board that helicopter have managed to somehow escape. It's wonderful to see all the support from Leicester fans and the wider global football community so thank you for the support. Let's hope our prayers are answered.

Absolutely tragic whoever was on board the plane. Hoping that somehow they are okay. Regardless of the situation, I just wanted to say these owners have been fantastic and have transformed our club to a global brand

Riyad Mahrez - The great Artist
shailen replied to The whole world smiles's topic in Leicester City Forum
He was our best player the season we won the league. Kante was a massive influence, but without Mahrez we would never have won the league. Last season he was doubled up on, and marked out the game pretty much all season, and that's why he appeared ineffective. In my opinion, I can't see how anyone compares to him especially in our recent history (last 20/25 years). He is a unique talent. We will never replace a player like him. Players like Messi, Neymar....etc lose the ball too and sometimes try too much, but its the fact that he has the ability to pull it off like those players that puts him in a league above. -
Premier League, 2017-2018 Season Thread

Feel that United will win it. They've looked good under Jose but are missing that killer instinct. I feel we will be up there challenging for Europa league/push for 4th place. -
If we are to play Gray over Albrighton and Mahrez I'd prefer if we played 4-3-3 with the extra man in midfield to give both players the license to go forward and focus less on defensive duties. Otherwise if we are to play 4-4-2 I reckon it's dangerous to play that way against the better sides such as Atletico since they will overpower our midfield and create dozens of chances. Both players at times are a little guilty of neglecting their defensive duties which we cannot afford in big games.
-
We have found someone here who is going to be some player. Got everything in his locker and a more all rounded player than Kante imo. There's something about these N'.... players lol. If things had worked out we could have had a midfield of N'golo, N'didi and N'Zonzi
-
Albrighton has been poor this season. Mahrez has turned up last two games prior to United, but for me Albrighton hasn't been on his game this season. Constantly giving the ball away, not putting those quality balls in and not even doing the same defensive work. I'd like to see us go 4-3-3 from now on with King coming in for extra protection and Gray and Mahrez out wide, in the same way United set up and we can have Drinky playing the playmaker role and getting further forward.

94 points from the last 42 games. For anyone that says that's a fluke, just look at those stats. 28 wins, 10 draws and 4 losses. Absolutely incredible.
-
Does anyone care about Forest? Over the last 20 years we have been the bigger club, followed by Derby and then Forest. Historically they have won more than us but in the current moment we are bigger. That's all that matters.

Max Gradel Joe Mattock Darren Kenton Nils Johansson Carl Cort Basically anyone that played for us during 04-08.

2015/2016 odds on winning the prem title !
shailen replied to merlin1969's topic in Leicester City Forum
I had us down on the handicap betting at the start of last season where we were +44 and finished 7th overall. Would be tempted again if we get good odds in our favour -
What a goal from beckford
-
Probably the weight of pass to Mahrez when it was two on one.
-
This is why I don't bother with stats. Statistics on their own mean nothing. For example if I look at our last four games 2 wins a draw and 1 loss. Surely that means we are on for Europe. Statistics need to be put in context. Like I said on another thread De Gea conceded five against us, but that doesn't make him a worse keeper than Kasper. There are some attributes statistics won't be able to measure about players performances and so they can be used as a guide but not as the definitive answer.
