I had the same thought . Looking at LinkedIn we'll just promote somebody that's been at the club a long time already. The current financial director has already been at the club for close to 14 years - given we snuck through FFP regs on a loophole that's a position that should be filled by fresh eyes. Not just a incumbent employee . Chief Executive - 14 years Director of football - 22 years Academy director - 22 years (same person, oops) Head of partnerships - 20 years Head of marketing - 19 years Head of content - 15 years Head of media relations - 12 yeats Head of IT - 21 years Ticketing Manager - 20 years No wonder it's stale at the club, our non-footballing recruitment is just as lazy the footballing side.

The personal loyalty to the Svriwaddywaddys is an issue for the football club and its fans. Unlike lots of industries the CEO is completely beholden to a function outside of their remit. The footballing function is disastrous and completely undermines every non-footballing dept, e.g - you can't run the commercial dept well if we're getting points deductions. Whelan is completely shafted but does nothing because she's a King Power loyalist and why cause an issue if you're well paid on the gravy train? The same thing applies to Rudkin. If people think Top isn't the issue and we'd magically be ok with different directors you're absolutely cuckoo. There are ZERO standards at the club, the directors don't enforce them either they're not accountable either because the owner doesn’t crack the whip. Top doesn't care, simple as that or he's more stupid or cowardly than we realise. The only significant change we've had a board level is literally because somebody died, that's what it takes. LCFC are a sclerotic organisation and their mismanagement will lead us into being the next Sheffield Wednesday.

I don't trust Capology's number at all. Especially as lots of players have signed multiple new deals and will have had a wage increase on joining us. Golding likely will have been on more than 8k pw at Chelsea, he would have joined on a higher wage especially considering it was a multimillion pound fee. At a minimum I'd expect he'd be on 10 or 12k. Kristiansen and Hermansen will be on more than that, both Danish internationals playing for clubs perennially in Euro completion before joining us. Lots of players will have had a wage increase on promotion too. I think a few of those figures are probably are overbaked like Vardy's at this stage and probably Vestergaard's too but most are undercooked. Mavididi and Fatawu just aren't on 10k pw. Our average wage was like 83k per week or something when we went down, we're not shrewd negotiators all of a sudden.
