  1. Emery has played a 442 at various times and Iheanacho is a super second striker
  2. Agreed actually, football is more glamorous than ever, I think particularly for younger lads it's for signalling now rather than going to games because they genuinely love it. Tiktok and twitter are to blame for the pantomime aspects e.g limbs, casual dress, affected away day culture
  3. Attendances are rising quite significantly across the board so I'm not sure that is the case, The PL will probably have larger average attendances than the Bundesliga next season
  4. The thread will be over really quickly if somebody just has a go, maybe it's best to DM you answers or do one at a time?? I'll start off with Astrit Ajdarevic
  5. Maybe this is clutching at straws but seeing as we've always been told "(Thing) is really big in Thailand" maybe losing face is far bigger thing than it ought to be at the club. Have they ever acknowledged **** ups or lies like the FA Cup coach debacle?
  6. Any notion of being a well run family club is completely untrue. Sorry to hear about this, no doubt there’s hundreds if not thousands on the same boat. The club lack any will to listen and improve on matters like these. If they were proactive, this would never happen but even if it did they’d actually listen to issues like these and make a change
  7. I’m not asking for them to come on here that’d be daft but even to address any concerns. We get essentially back channel comms through the FCC and most of the time that palms off any issues. They’ve been “looking into” the broken away priority system for years
  8. Great thread here offering perceptive and constructive criticism, absolutely zero acknowledgement from the club. Fan engagement at LCFC = biannual beers or doughnut giveaways
  9. Yeah absolutely, we've created artificial scarcity for tickets. STs are capped at 23k to provide circa 7k tickets for matchday tickets, then we layer the membership paywall on top. All of a sudden it's unreasonably difficult you get a ticket. If you have a scarce resource in a ST (only a few hundred come up in the ballot each year) why would you get rid of it, even if you were jaded?
  10. It makes no sense business wise either, ok in the immediate short term we'll profit from the small percentage of people who do buy a membership. A much larger proportion are put off altogether. Imagine how many people would want to attend 1 or 2 games a year but don't bother because of the membership scam? Leicester fans who: Live abroad Live elsewhere in Britain Work Saturdays Play football on Saturdays Can't afford to go more often Don't have regular childcare Students Kids Tickets purchased as a gift Then there's neutrals who might be in the city for university, work, tourism or whatever else who might catch a game if they can too. All of these put off by the paywall, a solid amount will just give up entirely which is the bigger crime (from a business PoV) as the lifetime value of a STH is probably 5 figures.
  11. I thought the regulars were taking the piss when they all roundly said goodbye as we left - nope, just genuinely friendly
  12. The videos of the ZDS end look unbelievable
  13. Coventry and Derby are what, 10-15 miles and easily accessible from Birmingham and Derby respectively which is what affects their attractiveness. Radio 2 ITP and the Kasabian gigs (although exceptions generally) prove Leicestershire can pull a big crowd. DMH, Morningside and the 02 are too small to get decent sized acts
  14. Hopefully we actually have transfers lined up early to soften the blow of any AFCON departures. January this year was a total disgrace.
  15. That back three wouldn't be physical enough imo, JJ is terrible in the air and Doyle isn't the most imposing. Faes has been near peerless anyway
  16. As far as I’m aware other clubs aren’t militant about forcing memberships on their fanbases. I’d guess wee have gagged a high STH/Capacity ratio too but I’m not sure on that point.
  17. Unless Top knows Muay Thai not very many at all, maybe Sian Massey
  18. Wyggeston House is great, weirdly if it was in another city I think it’s the sort of pub I’d appreciate its more.
  19. The club prevent any natural fan churn. STs capped at 23k, memberships almost mandatory and general sale minimised. If you’re disenfranchised with LCFC, football generally, transport, the cost of matchday or whatever else STs are so scarce you just wouldn’t give it up. The club hugely frown upon ST sharing too so it’s almost binary; go and not enjoy it or give up your ticket. I’d imagine a lot of fans would like to dip in and out season by season but it’s just not viable. All the while potential enthusiastic fans get to the odd game here or there. Whilst we’re at this impasse the club have to carry the can. Imagine if you were 18 now and didn’t have a season ticket , would you be into Leicester exactly the same way? A ST is a lottery so they probably don’t even bother with the ballot as it’s barely publicised. We’re missing out on generations of fans.
  20. Mediocre and he's a c nut
  21. Distillery pricing is a pisstake, £5.70 for a Guinness extra cold 😵‍💫
  22. Had a pint of Quintus in the Cock & Hoop in Nottingham, Round Corner x Tynt Meadow’s strong bitter, fantastic beer. Didn’t real feel that bitter-y but I could drink 5 easily and it’s 5.2%. Leics breweries are going from strength to strength.
  23. The battalion of stewards would be all over that now - I reckon you could even be kicked out for it
  24. We didn't have anybody comfortable with the ball deeper and solid defensively, Soumare was supposed to be that but he doesn't run.
  25. Emery was very attainable, unbelievable that we sacked Rodgers half a year later
