  1. Our long term CB options are: Faes Souttar (not fancied) Coady (not good enough for the PL) We can't not afford a CB.
  2. I was joking Lesterlad
  3. 14k must have been a massive away following at that time. IIRC attendances were fairly low in the late 70s and through into the 80s
  4. 26 today, felt it this morning after drinking far too many pints in Sheffield yesterday
  5. You can make your own fun by singing which is what I don't get. I had way more fun starting old player chants than standing in silence.
  6. It's annoying the median Sheffield pub would be in the top 5 in Leicester
  7. In an ideal world Charnwood, Braybrooke or Round Corner take it on - maybe only the latter could raise the funds for it.
  8. It's been a great year for the pub scene with the Castle re-opening, the new RAC and Brewdog closing
  9. Surprisingly little star around. PU way more prevalent. Some Gamberinus and Kozel around too
  10. Pubs or generally? Pubs - I looked at European Bar Guide’s website and didn’t go wrong. Moskyt and Beer Point are two I stumbled on and they were great. Lokal operate a few pubs but we loved the Dlouahaaa one. Hemingway bar is quirky, huge range of cocktails, probably best to book in. Zizkov is a cool district with nice bars and little markets, not overwhelmingly busy which was nice. Breakfast at Bistro66 at the TV tower is strong recommendation, cheap and a great view. 100% go to Kutna Hora to see the bone church - Sedlec Ossuary. It’s a nice little town, the pub by the cathedral, not the ossuary, was a properly authentic Czech hospoda - £1.10 beers and tasty food. Take the funicular up to Petrin after walking in or around the castle. The Staropramen brewery tour is that side of the river as well - it’s cheap so it’s worth it but it’s not fantastic. Definitely learn a few basic phrases, e.g hello (Dobry den/dob-ree den), thanks, the bill etc Service can be unwelcoming at times but if you make the effort, they’re more open.
  11. Drank lots of Pilsner Urquell in Prague. I’ve never been a fan of it over here, no pub is storing it in a tank. Incredibly smooth there but I found I didn’t really get drunk on it. The pubs are great too, proper boozers and stodgy Czech fare if they did it. No poncey decals, neon signs or other crap.
  12. # Club W D L Goals +/- Pts 1 Leicester 17 12 2 3 29:16 13 38 # Club W D L Goals +/- Pts 1 Leicester 17 14 0 3 31:10 21 42 Better statistically and with the general advancement in the quality of the game, the current team wins.
  13. The wingers maintain the width, if they combined in the half spaces we'd be so, so narrow. With an inverted FB and a wide CB we need the width from AIF and Mavididi, wider runs from the A`ms would help, KDH sometimes does. I'd be interested to see how we'd play in a conventional 433 tbh rather than the 3241 (in possession). I think we might create more.
  14. In this system I don't think our wingers will ever score or assist bucket loads, they're too wide to do so. The ST and AMs get the lions share of chances. He'd probably score more in the PL due to the space as teams attack us more.
  15. They weren’t the same players in 13-14 though, Vardy scored 17 (off the top of my head) that year. That 442 wouldn’t be able to cope with our current midfield and style of play. Plus Konchesky and De Laet couldn’t cope with the wingers now
  16. Staropramen 12° in Prague
  17. The train from Hinckley to Leicester is frequent and fairly cheap. Sonrisa is a great Argentine restaurant, maybe overkill edit your nephew. Maurizio’s is a nice pizza/italian restaurant - maybe more like it. The ground is a ~ 25 minute walk from the centre. Autographs, don’t know on that front, post-match by the main reception (West stand, riverside) is probably best?
  18. Deterring people passionate about your organisation is cataclysmically stupid
  19. 10/15, some of them you could work out from the kits/badges
  20. I'm not sure if it's official or not but I'm pretty sure the club has a policy of not hiring Leicester fans for senior roles - that's exactly the problem. That's why we get silly window dressing rather than tackling big persistent, issues like the away priority points.
  21. Which gets sung in SK1 most games. We have 10%, maybe 20% on a good day who'll actually consistently sing - it's not the songs. It's like blaming Junior Lewis' boots.
  22. FFP is rubbish anyway, let clubs spend what they want. The PL is better for Newcastle breaking up the big 6 hegemony (regardless of your opinion on their ownership). FFP allows the monied clubs to gatekeeper their positions. Most teams don't spend well anyway, United, Arsenal, Chelsea etc.
  23. It's another set of straws for the clubs to clutch at rather than taking any responsibility for relegation.
  24. Granby street or Loseby lane? Former is great, latter is odd.
