Maybe it is because the name is an abstract concept associated with the Tories that was quite heavily pedalled throughout the last few years and labour don't want to be associated with that phrase? You said yourself it doesn't matter, it's a bit of paperwork. Why are you bothered?

I must admit I'm struggling to see Labour not raising taxes for the majority of us somehow. What I'm not sure about is whether it comes quickly after they've done their due diligence and established how bad the public finances are and the public line is (rightly) blame the Tories, or whether or it's later down the line and far enough away from the election that they argue it's not breaking a promise is the question.

Probably helps that they will have been fairly confident of a win and as such we're probably able to put more resource into planning.

Like you say, there are boatloads who have had good seasons and hit good numbers but simply weren't good enough for the prem. Dare I mention Nicky Maynard. Or Craig Mackhail Smith. Or Jordan Rhodes. Just off the top of the head. I don't think we should be going for Szmodics.

I must say this seems pretty shrewd business on the face of it. Canr say I'd seen much of him but Fulham fans sad to see him go, he has experience and is versatile. Feels like a good addition to our wide options Mavididi and Fatawu. Hopefully he can fill a bit of that void Albrighton had in terms of experience.

I've never had a panic attack but from what I've read/listened to they do sound like symptoms and they can be pretty bloody scary by all accounts - I'd mention this to a GP as I think treating or helping to manage panic attacks could be helpful regardless of whether medication or CBT or anything else is recommended for your more generalised symptoms. I am yes. Unless it's had a lot done it's probably going to be a D I'd have thought, maybe a C. Roof insulation likely the easiest thing to upgrade assuming it's got double glazing. After that there aren't really any quick improvements, you're looking at lining the external walls which is obviously faff whichever way you go.

EPCs are a pretty blunt instrument as well for what it's worth and will often be based on significant assumptions unless it's a relatively new build. Do you know how old it is? What type of construction it is?

It's no longer being made, but I listened to quite a few episodes of a podcast called Anxiety Bites by a comedian called Jen Kirkman with various specialists. Kevin Pressman was pretty crap.

Disappointed he's leaving but obviously it's been on the cards. I think the value is a little low and it is a strange one for Chelsea, I wish him the best but can't see him being a regular.

Went out last night. Got on the bus to go home and a lad at the back was looking pretty worse for wear. His mate was getting worried as he was starting to drool and was passing out. Me, his mate and another lad carried him off the bus and someone put him in the recovery position or something close to it. An ambulance was called. A few minutes pass and those around him seem more concerned. It's not entirely clear what's happening but a young nurse gets off the bus and starts doing chest compressions. This goes on for a few minutes before the ambulance turns up. 3 staff get out and they spend several minutes doing chest compressions. I won't have been the only one who thought this lad had died in front of us. Thankfully they got him to some sort of stable condition, got him in the ambulance and off to hospital around the corner. And like that those helping got back on the bus and off we went. Hopefully he's OK. His poor mate, the nurse who can't have been much older than 20 and a couple others will be traumatised I imagine. It was overwhelming.

I mean it says independent on it and does not say Labour. I'm sure there will be a few who get confused but it's pretty obvious he isn't standing for labour.

If we get offered something around 35-40m I can't see us turning it down. I'd be disappointed to see him go but I do think that could be a reasonable result, gives us enough money to find a replacement although we've wiffed on quite a few CM/AMs over the last few years so it doesn't exactly fill you with confidence.

I don't mean to single you out but you keep repeating this and I really don't understand it. Many feel quite apathetic about politics in this country at the moment of that I am sure, but half the reason for that is that the Tories have been a complete and utter shambles. This apathy and cynicism is absolutely, in no small part down to the way the Tories have governed and it's what they bloody want. I find it almost incomprehensible that they've sent this out. It's disgusting that they think that is appropriate.
