I've never understood all the grief Madders got - a lot of it to me always seemed to come from a place of jealousy and anger. His comments about staying up last season will no doubt be well remembered, but for me he always worked hard, was often the only bright spark we had and it seems clear to me he's a good lad.

I find this baffling and I don't think many of our fanbase would describe him as lazy.

The Little Things on Netflix with Denzel, Remi Malek and Jared Leto. Was OK, a little slow which I was OK with but the ending I thought was disappointing. Dialogue too quiet at times also.

I enjoyed this

They would have to be a shower of incompetent, nepotist shits not to be.

The way he speaks is brilliant. I can't put my finger on exactly what it is but he seems to know just the right things to say. The club have deservedly taken a pasting on here over the last couple of years, but one thing they do deserve credit for is appointing Enzo. Surely can't have been anyone better for the job out there. Granted that might make the decision seem obvious, but it's always easy to say that with hindsight.

I can't see us not working something out with him, but I would hope 2 years max. I'm not convinced on his suitability defensively in the PL but ultimately I would imagine we're in the position where we don't have much choice as we won't be able to afford to replace him for the £10-20m it would probably cost.

One of my favourites that.

There's been a lot of talk about our fanbase in general recently but frankly I don't buy this notion that we are objectively worse than others in many of the ways that have been suggested recently. We have had a pretty unique fan experience, but everyone likes to think they're unique. Very few are by any significant number imo - we've all got our idiots and our particular foibles of course but I think the reality is that most fanbases are generally speaking representative of the population but with a skew towards males. Our opinions about our own fanbase aren't going to be reflective of the opinion outsiders have because they are biased by our own opinion of the club and our situation.

Ric Flair Live & Direct on BSLB Podcast

Echo comments made already, really interesting hearing Guillem's thoughts. He didn't pander to you either, which is always a good sign. -
They aren't defined as skill positions but I'm curious what you mean by skill and I still think you are doing them a bit of a disservice. Blocking well, pass or run, is as much technique as it is being big and strong. As is being D-line. Not sure kicking a ball straight is much more of skill given how repetitive it is. I'm downplaying it a little as it is obviously a precision thing but there are fewer variables to kicking than there are being on the line.
-
Don't know how firmly your tongue is in your cheek here but think your doing the linemen on both sides a disservice here in terms of how much they put into a game. Kicking is high pressure and obviously has a big impact on the game, but your line is involved on every play and if either one is rubbish you will really, really struggle to get anywhere. Good kicker or not.

Boo.

Ugh. I really can't be arsed with OT
-
I feel like the niners needed 7 there. Wouldn't bet against the Chiefs here.
-
Big stop there limiting them to 3.
-
Nothing unlucky about a return blocker not knowing where the ball is in the air. Niners need to hit back now imo.
-
Thank fvck something finally happened, been a right snooze fest so far. What is that barnet Jennings is sporting 😂
-
Think the niners needed that. Would've been demoralising for them not to have come away with 7 on the drive. You know there's no way the Chiefs don't get the ball moving at some point.

I think we need to cool it on the projections in general. We've been so good this year the only things people have been getting into arguments about are our playing style being "boring" and projections for those chasing. The projections were interesting to begin with to see where we might get to but recently it's gone OTT for me. Just enjoy it.

There's a series started on NFL UKs Youtube following the international pathway program. Short videos, but it's interesting to see. LRZ training at WR. Ep 2 link below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUJGb49XU2M

In principle I've no issue with it, but as others have said the real problem we have is about implementation of the laws not the laws themselves. It would probably be a shit show. We refereeing to be harsher on time wasting, diving, dissent etc and for them to be more consistent.
-
I think most of us are guilty of looking quite far ahead no matter the year, but it is interesting how being so far ahead (and on pace for a record) at an early stage massively amps up the projection/stats games people play. It's all good harmless fun, but it does amuse me.

Most schools have interactive white boards you can also draw on now.
