  1. 18 is just not right, they might not even hit 0, way excessive all because an emotional set of rules
  2. Winks get 100k renewal, at tops request for his passing ability.
  3. Remember he sacked Pearson for non result reasons without a second thought. To me he would have been far more decisive. We wouldnt have had the half in half out not sure what to do summer, we either would have ignored PSR and dealt with consequences later, or not allowed things to get so bad that we had no margins at all on spending limits. Rodgers I think would have been gone at the latest by Christmas, but I expect much earlier in October. Notice how no other club has had the same type of issues as us for so long, we are quite unique, as most are run by experienced business men.
  4. Remember organised teams defend from the front and its not something to put on the backline for blame. This is a combination of tactics, mentality, motivation, and fitness. I hope we look past the "last man beaten" mentality on here. There is a bigger picture than the last man beaten. Time and time again I see a static midfield as the opposition just dribbles or does a single pass directly to their front players. I expect players are been told to stick to positions (zonal), so dont close down, and also they lack fitness to press due to Seagrave as well. The absolute best teams get the ball back, within a few seconds of losing it, Pep used to say his Barca team was praised for passing but the real strength was they just won it back right away when the ball was lost.
  5. I keep reading these posts, but most teams I watch are fine. The worst team I have seen is ourselves and I am not kidding. I feel these type of comments is when people have got too used to watching glory games. Not sure what they expecting from the second tier. Remember it isnt poor just because people arent trying to play like Barca.
  6. The best managers have the belief to drop players in preferred position and try something new if it leads to better results. But too many people think it has to be circle pegs in circle holes.
  7. We need to go back to having 3-4 first team strikers in the squad. But also to refuse an offer for him when its clear he wasnt working last summer, was a sackable offence.
  8. I agree on Wes improving a lot with Huth. But I want to make a point that has bothered me for a while. It is fashionable on the community that when we concede a goal, to either blame the keeper, or usually to blame the last man that got beaten. This is a very short sighted way of viewing the game, it is a team sport, lots of things happen before the ball gets to the final defender, but many dont seem to understand this, it might be excused that people are relying only on highlights which sadly dont show much else than a few seconds before the goal, but I would expect people watching live to see the bigger picture. As an example lets say we have possession in final 3rd, a player over hits a pass (common with us), we lose the ball, then the other team runs through our midfield without getting challenged, often without even getting pressed (also common), then the ball gets in to a dangerous area our final 3rd, and only then we shift into gear to try and get it back, one defender stands like a statue, and another tries to intercept before the shot, but fails and the shot is in the back of the net. Basically that defender that tried to save the situation right at the end is the one that gets blamed, not the defender not helping him, not the midfield, being cut through like butter, not the player who did an unenforced error with a over hit pass. Not the lack of a full team press, or bad tactics from the manager, its all down to that final defender nearly every single time with foxes talk, its frustrating. The problem with this, it can lead to specific defenders getting abuse from the crowd, affects confidence and motivation, and before you know it they in perpetual bad form.
  9. Then he cant throw his toys out of the pram, he is already set for life. So he can move to a better footballing destination he prefers, but be comfortable with a little less savings than before. Or he can put greed first but then has to respect his contract, including being respectful to his current manager, colleagues and the fan base. Its not like this guy played lower league and Leicester is his only big contract, he was already wealthy from his time at spurs. Sadly many people become more addicted to money the more of it they have, they forget they dont take it with them when they leave this world.
  10. They didnt do that either. Indecisiveness had us stuck in the middle of keeping old transfer window strategies and fully backing him. Backing Rodgers would have been following his suggestion to sign Lookman. Not selling Fofana at end of a transfer window. Allowing him to do the rebuild he wanted as he did at least correctly diagnose the squad needed a refresh, football doesnt stand still. (instead he found right at last moment it wasnt happening, was even showing potential signings around training ground). Same indecisiveness led us to getting rid of him too late.
  11. Our fans cursed it when they started singing we staying up with 20 mins to go, they thought the win was in the bag.
  12. Its Cooper all over again, not a tippy tappy manager so lets give no chance and howl him out from day 1. For people who are raging enough to want to vent on an employee, take it out on Rudkin.
  13. They ok, probably no worse than we were under Enzo. They get the ball to final 3rd quickly (extremely important). Pressure. They can can also actually do simple passes. What are you expecting from opposition teams.
  14. We cant even do a single pass. Question. Why do our player pass the ball to the stoke player in front of them? What is making them do that. Also if we so good quality players why are we over hitting, under hitting etc?
  15. Taking these videos for people to work it out, but better late than never.
  16. I think we all agree on that.
  17. Again I mixed up words, I meant I think there will be no sporting punishment (of relevance). They too big a club to allow it to happen to, it would be a bad mark on the brand of the league, and the government links to the owners. We looking at either a irrelevant points deduction carefully timed or more likely a fine in my opinion.
  18. Read my edited reply, damn you fast on the trigger before I could edit. I would appreciate you edit the quote.
  19. Ok I have mixed up terminology I was thinking charge as in punishment, I accept what you saying. But the EPL still could have done this far better. I think there will be no sporting charge, thats my thoughts on the matter, and I am not alone in these thoughts.
  20. Nothing is stopping the EPL ignore the Man City legal team and announce a charge regardless of their presence. Then the legal battle would be the appeal, there isnt even an initial charge for Man City to dispute. An unannounced charge is effectively no charge. At best we could consider it a negotiation.
  21. The things you mentioned could quite easily have been done just to given an impression of intent. They clearly not as hungry to deal with the larger clubs as the smaller one's. Chelsea hotels allowed, Man City still no charge. Clear examples of that.
  22. I dont know where I stand, which I know will turn heads at me even saying that. The problem is I fear, it will need the imminent threat of liquidation to get rid of Top or at least a relegation to league one. Like it did at Sheff Wed. Avoiding disaster quite possibly also keeps Top here, I fear the two things are joined up. I now have firmly embedded my own opinion that Top is the club's biggest problem. But as you said going through the whole process of the club's existence becoming at risk is not something to be taken lightly. We could end up with no club. Not to mention the reputation damage from it like the first admin did. Another concern is if we finally do get rid, KP keep hold of the valuable stuff like training grounds and stadium, so the problems wont be over. That situation in league one would be even more horrifying, we could end up like cov were having to use another ground for home games.
  23. Why are people talking as if he is a bad manager?
  24. Mental gymnastics to avoid the idea Top is just an idiot? From KP's perspective the club clearly isnt a priority and they may have decided pumping money into it is a worser evil than letting it devalue, certain assets like the stadium and Seagrave lands probably maintain value regardless of sporting success as well. The club outside of those assets already probably isnt worth much. Lots of liabilities like the pay day loans, and squad. If it was a priority I think Top would have been removed as chairman.
  25. 44 pages, we need this drive to get Top and Rudkin out of the club. Football manager normally perhaps the most important employee feels insignificant at the moment, such a weird feeling due to how much of a mess we in. If we employ him, he's massively up against it.
