You've said pretty much what I was going to post. It's not just us. Look at Man U. Liverpool, Man C etc. and all their plastics. The hardcore of true, dyed in the wool supporters of our, and most clubs, has been watered down by the occasional tourist types. They don't really give a damn. I wonder how any "supporters" we attracted following the PL and the FA cup win that still are as vociferous or turn up in numbers now? I think the apathy we're experiencing now is due to several factors including poor performances/results, lack of interest from KP and the disengagement of fans by the board/owner. Their own lack of interest in our club is bound to trickle down. The whole is the sum of it's parts in the case of LCFC an KP. Ticketing, food and the limited choice of beer on offer, the state of the concourse, (the "security" staff are a joke), and the associated facilities, leave a lot to be desired. It's all so negative. On and off the pitch. It just feels like the supporters are an irrelevance, as is success on the pitch as long as KP are still in profit in their other ventures. We're just a trinket to add to their business profile. And I think many fans are starting to realise this and start thinking "why should we bother" because KP don't.

I see @Wymsey has been absent for a while. Last I saw he was saying he wasn't in a great place and was going to post less. Hoping he's ok.

There's better places for a day trip in England than Blackpool. Places you can actually drive to and not have the restrictions of flight times. Go and return as it suits. EDT's are another fad where someone has posted about it on FB and the dim sheep have said "yeah, I'll go for that cos it's on FB innit. I wanna post my pics of me at a bar in Magaluf and be back home in time for bed." Twats.

So, unless I'm mistaken, you're saying go to Barcelona or any regional capital on several day trips to experience the "vibe". You're not gonna experience the "true Catalan vibe" by doing that. What rubbish and how patronising is your response. I've been to a number of interesting cities and spent time there, absorbing the culture over a period of days. I've never used trip advisor, I've just made my own choices and explored at my leisure without having to think I've got to be back at the airport in an hour having sat at a Las Ramblas bar for a couple of hours and never taking the time to actually take in and appreciate what the city has to offer. If you went to Rome for a day on a £20 Ryanair flight, do you think you have time to visit the Colosseum, the Vatican, the Trevi fountain etc before getting back in time for check-in?

Why do the URL's keep showing as expired whenever I click the links? Frustrating.

It's not irrational but I agree. Why do it? It seems almost disrespectful. If I go to somewhere like Barcelona or Rome or whatever interesting city in mainland Europe, I'd want to have time to explore and experience the place. Not just rock up, have a few beers and a meal and go home.

We (well, Mrs Para) have decided to take the bath out and have a walk-in shower instead. The plan is to put in these new fangled MDF panels instead of tiles in the shower. Has anyone else done this? Are they any good? Are they watertight? Easy to install? (I won't be doing it myself but I am wondering about the cost if an installer does it). Were looking at a brand called Fibo. I've done the usual Google search for reviews but none seem very conclusive
