No matter how organised we are, If we don’t lscore it’s just pointless (literally!)

Well that was ok. Had a couple of chances and don’t look too rattled at the back. Fully expect Arteta to sort them out a bit and to stop messing around at half time. I don’t know what more we can do.

In June! Would have loved to have gone but the amount of summer gigs I’ve got booked for June/July is ridiculous. August/September and I’m there.

I’ve pretty much given up on them the moment. The whole club is in a rot. I go to the football as a break from the Monday to Friday drag. Doing another journey into the City, parking miles away on a cold damp February day to watch another repeat performance. I just don’t see any spark in this side to give me any hope of them turning it around. Even as a STH this just isn’t worth it at the moment. The only reason I’m tempted to go tomorrow is I gave the Fulham game a miss, can’t make Brentford as I have a early start on the Saturday morning and being put to the sword by a very poor Man Utd side for the fourth time this year at 7pm on a Sunday doesn’t exactly excite and that will probably be a miss as well. 2-0 Arsenal, they take their foot off the gas and just keep us at arms length.

I looked at Ozzy/Black Sabbath tickets this morning. I know there’s a lot of acts, it’s going to charity, and all dayer but £197 for the cheapest seats means I’m out.

I moved out of my 09 plate Corsa last week. Can’t say I was ever in love with it but I took really good care of it and it never let me down. Just done over 130k and it was time. Swapped to a 66 plate 1.6 Tdi Blue Motion Golf Match. It was the old pool car at work, great condition and really low mileage for its age. They gave me a great deal and I had looked after it for the last few years so knew the history. Right car at the right price so it was a bit of a no brainer to take it.

I couldn’t make the Saturday date because I’m at the six nations in Cardiff but 7pm on a Sunday night…no thanks!

We need to talk about social media and fans

There was a point I was thinking of blocking #LCFC on twitter, now i just ignore or don't comment. An awful lot seems to be vague controversial headlines or comments to try and get engagement in some form. I very rarely comment in the Leicester City section on here. I just can't be bothered, I go straight to the general discussion section. -
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c20p7qdev93o So we’ve demolished the Parcel Yard etc and they don’t actually have a contractor lined up to do the refurbishment of the station!

Easter weekend so who knows where that’s going to end up.

Tigers just announced women’s 6 nation game England v Scotland on 19th April at 4.45pm. I’m guessing we won’t be at home to Liverpool at 3pm then.

Bottom 3 unfortunately. The midfield 4 who started against Man City would hold their own but in attack and defence we are falling well short. I can’t see a team in the relegation zone being that attractive to anyone on a permanent deal in the January window.

Not exactly my last pint but The Kernel Brewery Nitro Stout from the Brew Tavern next to Nottingham Station was superb. Second nitro stout I’ve had in the last few weeks and both were exceptionally good.

Safe Standing at the King Power Stadium
Livid replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think it’s happening, going to be interesting where they locate it. Sk1 where the majority stand already would be a logical choice but given that lately our club doesn’t seem to do much logically and a number of areas I’ve seen seem to be in corners of grounds I wouldn’t be surprised if they picked G1. I’ve sat there for years and would prefer not to move but it is what it is. Obviously if the last few years had played out differently on the field we would have an expanded stadium with a much bigger selection of seats to relocate to by the time this was brought in. -
Anyone know is Shimla Pinks has changed hands? It’s kind of our regular midweek pre match meal place for years. I’ve always loved it and never really had any dodgy side effects from eating there. Went last night for the first time this season, the usual staff didn’t seem to be in, menu had had a revamp. The food was decent, had my usual, slightly bigger portions if anything, just looked a little different. It wasn’t as busy as usual. The problem was it just didn’t sit well afterwards just didn’t feel comfortable watching the game, had acid reflux on and off all night. Never had a problem before when eating there.

Saw Conclave last night, Ralph Feinnes was superb and a very good film. Having said that I felt a little let down by the ending , *spoiler alert* you could see the most blatantly obvious ending from about 20 minutes into the film and it just played out. They threw in a twist at the very end but for me it didn’t really do enough to convince me it was the ending the film deserved.

Agree on that even if I had to go to Burton to see it.

All been a bit meh lately to be honest. Had a strange experience in the O2 presale for Lana Del Ray at Wembley. A friend at work wanted two as Christmas presents for someone and asked me to use my priority to get them. I knew it started at 10am but I got distracted and forgot. She reminded me dead on 10 o’clock, had to join a queue to get onto the O2 priority app, got into the Ticketmaster queue, 64000 in front of me for a presale WTF!! I would have walked away but my friend asked me to keep my place. 50 minutes later I get to the front of the queue thinking this is pointless……..loads of tickets left! , not the best or most expensive but we got her a couple of decent seats at the right price. I get there’s Bots, people give up, get kicked out or see the prices don’t bother, but I started at 64000 for a presale!! How did that happen?

Went to Everards Meadows for an early Christmas meal with friends last night. Had a pint of their Cast No Shadow Nitro Stout. Loved it, incredibly smooth but unfortunately had to limit myself to just the one as I was driving.

Linkin Park at Wembley next June. Unfortunately somehow I didn’t really listen to them until Chester passed away. Then I found out I loved them but it seemed like that ship had sailed. I know it won’t be the same and I know Emily Armstrong has/had some views which are a little out there but I she fits in really well and I’ve loved what I’ve heard so far!

I honestly feel like i'm stuck in the middle screaming into a void. I've got the crazies on the right thinking everyone risking their life to cross the channel is free loading terrorist and shooting them on sight would instantly solve all of the country's problems. I've got the nutters on the left who believe that every pensioner/farmer is a cash rich millionaire, every business is making Amazon like profits and should be paying their employees £50k plus for working from home for 15 hours a week, whilst absorbing the extra tax burden the government is hitting them with.

It was really good quality, enormous sausage on a bed of mash with gravy, just went to see the Pretenders at the City Hall after and was on the Gaviscon for the rest of the evening. Onion Bhajis in the pie warmer as bar snacks!

Guinness at The Foresters in Sheffield City Centre. I had a feeling it was going to be a good pint as they had a retro pelican pump on the bar looking like it was from the 70’s. Just incredibly creamy and smooth, the best I’ve had for 18 months since I was in Dublin. The chive sausage and mash gave me indigestion all night but the Guinness was spot on.
