Yeah bit disappointed as i think we were going places with him & the players were certainly following him but it was only a years contract & i think more for him than the club to see how he goes but looks like he wants to return to Oz maybe even the Wallabies job again & not because of any fallout from the Toulouse match. So early contenders Graham Rowntree, Franco Smith & Felix Jones

A little more about her from the BBC link, seems to know where the net is in the Swedish league https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c1m53mk08zro

Steven Gerrard leaves his role as Al Ettifaq manager by mutual consent

I'd happily cut short Facundo's loan & get McAtee in now that BL no longer after him as they signing Buendia, sadly think we'll miss out on him as Man C seems to be opening to selling him as well as doing loans.

12 entrys doesn't make it look good BUT is the hamstring issue the same 1, looks like they just about run consecutively until after the rest period they decide lets operate as that then shows a long layoff, he then doesn't have a recorded hamstring injury after that, so hopefully that is cleared. That accounts for 5 of the 12 entries & there's 1 entry of illness could be a anything a cold/covid so 6. Looking at the 2 other bigger abscences the 1 marked unknown was a 3 week hip injury & the knee injury maybe a meniscus tear as not long enough for anything major. I think due to his age as in still growing especially 20/21-21/22 seasons & that he is an explosive player he will be subject to hamstring/muscle injuries but most f those are for what 2-3 week periods. He's back playing now only missing out on the matchday squad 5 of the 23 games so his fitness must be up there, he's played 9 times this season (8 in the last 11 games) with 5 starts & has managed 4 goal involvements, not a bad return i'd say. He can play both sides as FB or Winger & probably edges our current options in all 4 positions, subject to seeing more of Woyo, so it does make an for an interesting rumour, i'd risk it.

All under 1 roof the power of Seagrave

That’s outta bloody order that, really shouldn’t be allowed with national team viewing.

If we were insisting on an obligation to buy regardless of where they find themselves at the end of the season then I wonder now if the 'option' is an 'obligation' IF they are promoted, otherwise i think its safe to say they are not buying him at the end of the season regardless of promotion then.

Parking or lack there of must be up there with most reasons to move. With mortgages harder to come by kids are staying in the family home longer and a once 1 or 2 car family can quickly become 4 or even 5 with kids partners moving in. Yet all new houses and estates don’t cater for this or the fact people have visitors and the 4 visitor parking spots they put on their new fancy estates are filled by residents 2nd car, they even build with car ports because they don’t want garages going unused by cars to try and stop people parking on the kerbs. Even £1m houses only have parking for 2 cars on a drive, here’s an idea stop cramming 50 houses on an acre plot ffs.🤦♂️

Random / Semi Unheard of Players you’ve spotted that we should look at

Barcelona are looking to off load Fati did anyone pay any interest in him last season at Brighton? -
Cool, not saying don’t take it but it then soon adds up for just a nominal (in premier football terms) amount more so worth trying to sneak a bit extra maybe especially if they are showing signs of really wanting him.

I have no idea if that’s right but would that mean for just 1m more it would be 30m in psr terms?

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

Players are little man babies nowadays not used to the harsh realities of life and responsibility. A manager should be able to rip into them after poor performances, christ I bet the majority would cry, walkout calling for their mums or seek counselling if a football manager delivered a team talk like Rassie Erasmus did to the SA squad after their loss to IRE and it wasn’t even a hairdryer talk just an honest wake up call questioning commitment, lack of regret & self pride. Deserved or not, as it was a cracking game, it’s a managers way of getting a positive response from professional adults and getting them to re-focus, if it’s to harsh for them maybe elite sports isn’t for them. worth googling. -
Chelsea and Manchester City have been given a £40m-plus insurance policy against failing to qualify for next season's Champions League by their participation in this summer's Club World Cup. That’s £40m just for turning up so they will get between that & £80m for winning it, comparable to CL winner securing £85m. There is no ‘competition’ in football anymore when these teams are rewarded for failure. Come October we will no doubt hear the chime of these managers being the 1st to whinge about to many games & player safety along with we couldn’t care less about any club further down the chain scrap all replays to look after our boys.

A Sunday league manager can put 11 players in his 6yd box, the Everton physio covered more ground than the combined team did.

Would JJ pushed up to RW behind Woyo be an option? We need to plug holes and just swapping like for like at RB and leaving a guy that wants to come inside at RW will produce the same issues for Woyo. JJ has played the combined roles in every game, he gets in the box, shoots and provides crosses everything a winger will do. This then leaves Facundo to come off the bench but in a 10 role if Bilal has run himself into the ground. JJ does need a break mins as played virtually every minute of every game.

So for footballing stories the Mail is spot on and for everything else it’s a joke rag, is that what I’m reading here? -
Report last week stated Monaco were 1 of only a few clubs who could afford Rashford’s wages when they were linked, so I don’t want any of this option to buy cr4p front up or push off.

They have 1 up on us yes but that's only because they haven't had success yet, our model changed the moment we won the league it had to because of reward & expectation. They are just starting on this slippery slope, they haven't finished in the top 4 yet & could easily slip & finish out of the top 8 let alone top 4 with 16 games still to play. They are only 6pts ahead of Man C & Newcastle who at any time could go on a run & then only 8pts ahead of Villa in 8th so they are looking at twisting with big money signings to pull that gap further away, which is when that slope becomes steeper. As mentioned they are already rewarding current players with new improved terms, they are looking at breaking their transfer record which will probably come with breaking their wage record also, they could finish this window with possibly 6 players on over £100kpw when they started january they only had 1. Yes they have players that could be sold to offset but so did we, it quickly dries up because you start shopping in a different store so your incomings are getting more expensive, yes the odd 1 will still slip through, but within 2-3 seasons they will have a squad on wages similar to what we were & not being able to offload players that they no longer want & the flexibility goes & every signing has to be a success as just 1 or 2 duds can destroy clubs our size. I for 1 couldn't careless that its Forest doing it, any club socking it to the man gets my vote but sadly we know how it ends regardless of how many people say stick to the model that got you there because unfortunately you can't stick to it & compete.
-
His 5x 1st team appearances = 1hr 2mins of football
-
It's certainly not the competition that Real Madrid, Man C, Juv & PSG were expecting, i won't put Dortmund & BM in that bracket as they didn't want the super lge break away but the others must be livid with this format hitting their revenues. Seeing RM in 16th makes me smile especially when reading they are the 1st club to pass the €1bn revenue in a single season
-
I think you’ll find that Forest will go the same way as we did, I’ve already posted on their current wage structure & how it’s about to be blown out the water just like ours did. So far they sit in the top 4 well done them but they have not yet finished in the top 4, & like us they are starting to offer new contracts to their existing players as a reward for getting this far and to ward off potential buyers. Now take Murillo arguably 1 of their most important players, he was sitting on £30kpw but has now signed a new long term contract, his CB partner is on £105kpw & he was being touted as a target for Liverpool..so with those 3 factors how much do you think Murillo is now on? They are also in negotiations with another 4 current players all of which are currently on around £70kpw so going north of that. If they were to get Wissa &/or Cunha how much do you think for and how much £kpw it would take, success comes at a price that 13/14 clubs in the league can’t afford.
