Was there any serious link in the first place? Just hearsay and a FT meltdown wasn't it? Edit: looks like Nixon was the initial RM link, cant read his Patreon but the title of the story is 'Leicester make final bid for Martin'

Back to Cavtat post getting married in a few weeks, was our first holiday together in 2015. Then have a week in Colorado in September for a friends wedding and Thailand for our honeymoon in November. I look forward to being skint for a considerable amount of time.

I dont think we do announcements anymore.

I think its become pretty obvious over the past weeks that this has pretty much become a showpiece and priority for the club, particularly in an attempt to try and buy time in having to comment on last season and make any form of announcements around next season. After this they pretty much run out of places to hide from addressing the fan base, let's hope we here something next week. As for the match, its pretty sad how much of a non-event it is. I remember when we won the title, my dad who was around 50 at the time said that nothing else would top that for him, it was the pinnacle of his time being a fan of the club. He asked me the other day if I was bothered about going along to this and I told him pretty certainly that I wasn't. How sad that those who have run the club have driven people like myself to such disdain that I'd quickly shut down the idea of getting to spend time with my old man celebrating one of the happiest moments of his and manys lifetime.

Either moved elsewhere because of the sun or that end is emptying

When he is Sacked, would you take Tonda Eckert?
LcFc_Smiv replied to Phube's topic in Leicester City Forum
Hes a nothing manager. He was arrogant and uninterested in anyone or anything but his and his mates own wellbeing and career trajectory at Barnsley. Reflected in the fact hes now pressured a younger member of staff to do his bidding. He's not the person you want involved in your club at any level. As for his coaching ability, his stint at Southampton is very much the exception to what hes shown hes capable of previously. Steer well clear of the bloke. -
I dont understand the stance that they are essentially being fined £200m? Surely that only applies if they win against Hull and get promoted, which isn't a foregone conclusion, so on what grounds does that stand? They cheated, the manager owned up to it, and people within the club have got to be aware of it. You claim expenses in football if you have to go to the local supermarket to stock up on fruit and bits for the players, your telling me no one at the club is aware that one of their staff would be claiming mileage and expenses for their upcoming opponents. Eckart has admitted he thought it was a fair practice so seemingly they didn't hide the fact they were doing it? So how many people were actually involved or knew about it?!?!

Pretty much everything they say is to generate controversy and conversation. There was a piece, I cant remember where discussing their stances of refereeing decisions a few seasons back on MotD. There were quotes of them both, particularly Lineker chopping and changing their stances on calls over the course of the season to suit the narrative for the clips then posted on socials.

Ive just seen the Maddison rallying cry interview, we all know how this one ends bit of a recurring theme for James

I personally couldn't be happier to see him with egg on his face, couldn't happen to a nicer guy, maybe his mate Gerhard but he was already found out

Whats Pep so angry about?

This is like where you have a really good dream, then wake up and realise its not real, gutting. Such a lovely kit.

Looks like its largely dependent on what Top will be able to put in to decide just how tight it will be. Potentially another consideration on the manager front, if their wages are accounted for then maybe something else we waiting to hear on.

Got a mate at Hull and his thoughts are that they have done very well with considering the transfer embargo and some limited funds, but equally they seem to keep falling upwards! Not a bad thing I guess, when your looks in, your looks in!

I know this is our level now but hes sh*t, can we not be a little more creative than a 29yo journeyman. -
The clubs gone on the defensive this week with the charity related social media posts. As others have said, you can't deny this stuff isn't important and shouldn't be shared. However, I find it another morally questionable decision from the club to use this kind of content as away of diverting from the heat they were getting. They know anyone who challenges the posts or questions the club in any capacity will be shot down by others and made to look the bad guy. Its just another distraction to the fact they have no intention of actually communicating around the deeper lying issues at the club.

We got the exact same decision the other year when Ben White was penalised for near enough the same thing???

Will cost peanuts, Barnsley never seem to figure out how to maximise the money they bring in for their best players.

Sky Bet Championship Grounds Team of the Season award
LcFc_Smiv replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
As someone in the Facebook comments said, its no surprise with the multi-million pounds worth of shit we put on it week in week out. -
That "A little bit" comment is still chewing away at me, are you having a laugh you condescending *****?!?!
-
They usually put it in the end of season post around who's being released from first team and academy and who's signed extensions or in talks etc. Ive seen a few teams start to release there's, no doubt ours will be announced middle to late June.
-
The cost to run it reduces significantly if we arent in the WSL, relegation, as horrible as it sounds is likely the best outcome but will mean a number of roles will be cut. Unlike the academy you receive no significant funding to operate a women's team.
