  1. That decision was either gross incompetence or corruption. Acid test: would it have been flagged had we scored rather than Utd?
  2. El Khannoos. Passion, quality, determination, pitch coverage, positive, forward play. Sensational. Nobody else on our side came anywhere near close.
  3. It's hope, more than expectation on my part, that he'll keep us up.
  4. Last chance saloon for Cooper on Saturday. A draw won't save him, unless we have a dramatic improvement on the field in terms of our attacking intent and positivity. Surely, Fatawu has to start?!
  5. De Boer lasted 5 games at Palace. Hodgson came in and steadied the ship. There has been a successful precedent. Sooner rather than later i.m.o
  6. From "Enzo, Enzo, give us a wave" To "Cooper, Cooper, sort it out" In the space of a few months. Says it all really. He's totally inept.
  7. Was it just me, or was Cooper actually deliberately timewasting bringing Fatawu on in the 91st minute for Mavididi? Happy with the point! He really has to grow a pair as our manager, be a hell of a lot more positive, and appreciate that a point in these circumstances simply isn't good enough. Bournemouth at home better be 100% better than that.
  8. Irrespective of the Forest connection, Cooper gives me the same Megson feel.
  9. Jump up if you love Leicester. Only just recovering!
  10. Not ever really been a fan. That slow build up r from defence reduces space and throttles the life out of our more creative players. You could sense it in the Norwich game. The crowd were baying for Fatawu in particular to disobey orders and take players on/ do what comes naturally. But it was/ still is a "needs must" situation whereby points on the board mean more than entertaining the fans. Unfortunately, teams have worked out our style of play now and are quite content for vestergaard/faes/winks to complete 90+% triangles in our own half, and then use their 30% of possession more positively and decisively. It's been said many times on here, but is there a tactical plan B? If not, the mostly dull torture will continue for the remaining games.
  11. The levels of financial mismanagement here are Risdale-esque.
  12. Crowd really played their part there. Urging a more attacking style, particularly encouraging Fatawu at every opportunity. And showing frustration at any sign of sideways/ backwards play.
  13. The Delinquents is a great watch, for those with patience: 3 hrs long. Bank robbery/ road movie set in Argentina.
  14. It would be easy to underestimate how brilliant Vardy's finish was for our second. World class finishing.
  15. Too many key players been off their game last 3 matches: Winks, KDH and Mavididi. Enzo decision making also questionable. For example, taking off Fatawu tonight, who was sensational.
  16. Stalwarts who made the trip there tonight deserved that cracking Fatawu winner.
  17. McAteer had a chance at 1-0 to go forward. He went backwards. From then on, we went backwards.
  18. That was as entertaining and dominant a first half as I've seen all season, and for a very long time before that!
  19. Never has the saying "looked dead on our feet" been more apt.
  20. Good problem to have. But the midfielders and wide men in particular are going to have to modify their game slightly now and play Cannon in more often. He looks hungry, feed him!
  21. So, 2.2 pts per game average 10 prior ("overperformed") to 1.4 pts average per game last 5 ("underperformed")? Averaging those two out, you get 1.8 pts per game remaining which I'd say was a reasonable expectation, considering the strength and depth of our squad. That would put us on 93 pts - comfortable promotion based on historical data, though not champions. I think we'd all take that at the beginning of the season.
  22. I'm merely pointing out that we've had our scrapes in the past, the collateral damage of which was arguably far worse than that perpetrated by Everton (certainly with the administration).
  23. We've infringed FFP in the not so recent past. And didn't receive a points deduction. And don't forget the trail of destruction we left behind during the 2002 administration. Again, no meaningful sanctions. Glass houses springs to mind.
  24. He messed up when he left LCFC. But prior to that, particularly the Championship winning season, where he was our driving force, he was a truly excellent player for us. Happy retirement Danny, with thanks.
  25. KDH clearly been working on his turning. Some really excellent turns in tight positions today.
