That's exactly the type of fight you want to be watching as a boxing fan. Loads of heart. Loads of punches landed. Great stuff. Probably went on a round too long and if the ref caught that stumble off the stool then you'd think it was stopped. That being said, he had him checked out and did due dilligence; it is fighting after all. Right up there with the great heavyweight fights, that one.

What does everyone do for the best possible price-point here. I've used CD keys as a cost saving alternative but it seems to be a little less cost effective now. Any guidance? I'm using Ultimate at present.

I didn't say it was. Infact, if you read my previous post it's fairly ****ing clear I'm fully aware it's Netflix. The failure of our administration is to not properly acknowledge Vardy. But I suppose reading is hard.
-
I didn't say it was successful or pitched right. The whole thing is a horror show of corporate illtaste and avarice. The actual concept of Vardy at Leicester deserves so much more than this and is yet another failure of our current administration.
-
It's just corporate 'bantz'. A transparent attempt to capitalise on a cultural phenomenon. Even the image itself is packaging and selling Vardy. It's a crass, comercialised, and cynical attempt at appealing to the Gen Z crowd and selling them their own emotional sentiment. 'Hahahah look it's that ChatGPT challenge but with Vardy. It's SO six months ago but we're post irony aren't we? Hahaha like and subscribe.' Someone get down there with some emulsion and cover it up. ****ing hell. Can't we crowdsource an actual decent artist to make something worthwhile.

I think you misunderstand the sterling work our leadership can do in that arena.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!

Can't wait for the Instagram post. I'll need the tissues. -
I'd disagree, Bovril. People are making a conscious choice to copy it because they think it sounds cool. End of last school year there were some A-Level students in a local boozer going about what Minor and Majors they were going to do at Universities. They all must have known that's not what happens as they'd have had to applied. People just think it sounds cool. It gives them a thrill. I remember when Brendan Rodgers as at Liverpool. One broadcaster picked up on the 'Quarterback' nonesense and instantly it was everywhere. Sadly, people want to sound American because it's the langauge of the media they consume. It's awful but inevitable.
-
Been happening for years and years, sadly. The entire language of football has changed to reflect a ghastly American version. I've been saying this for years - and had no end of people arguing that it's benign and I'm overreacting. Have you noticed that the vernacular is shifting for the pitch - more and more it's the field now. The football field. Just another little knife. One of the biggest wins is getting the NFL normalised and having English fans performatively acting American. There's been examples of English folks 'tailgating' in a desperate attempt to get the full trans-atlantic sports experience. Embarrassing. I always find it fascinating that the English people perform being into American sports. It's never any other countries, is it? Nobody is getting into kabaddi.

According to a sponsorship interview this weekend he's happy with his performances!

It's this weird Eastern Mysticism that we want to believe in for some reason. Like the whole 'respect is very important to the Easterners' bullshit that get peddled as though it's not important anywhere else. They're no more or less loyal than anyone else in the world. Choosing to believe that is just desperation for an excuse.

Who's voting stay for any of them and why?

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!

Someone on an unreputable social media platform is suggesting he threw his shirt in to the Blackburn end. I'd like to think this isn't the case and I find it hilarious if he did. -
I didn't make it today and I'm sad that it ended. But he's been toss for two years. We've had the best from him but he's had more from us. We kept him when countless others wouldn't. And we raised his wages. He'll end up the second division in Portugal and good luck to him.

Good for a winger. That's what he is. -
2 years great. 2 years injured. 2 years poor. Thanks Ricardo but it's the end.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!

There is a lot of overlooking of the fact that he really isn't a center-forward. We got what we signed in terms of goal output. He's a wide-man who we've given the number nine and expected to do number nine things. The reality is we signed an aging wide-man whose best days are behind him and expected him to perform like a centerforward. He's a sympton but not the cause. That being said, I'm not going to be overwhelmed with sadness when he's no longer with us. -
Nothing but contempt with him and directly with the authorities dealing with him. Make no mistake, if this is John Davies office worker they've been banned, fined excessively, and eventually imprisoned. As it's a footballer the court system has bent and creaked to allow this to go on and hasn't used its full punishments. The last but one time he was in court he was told he would face prison time if he continued and he went right ahead and did it again. If the deterrent for a crime is a fine then that crime doesn't exist for rich people.

Mass applause at the end, too. With fans arguing against any booing. They were literally applauded off the pitch. I'm not sure how this sustains itself anymore.
-
Physical and verbal aggression for booing. No point going anymore.

A missed opportunity to challenge Aiyawatt the other night. If you're responsible why don't you resign? If you don't want to then how do you plan to hold John Rudkin as Senior Executive to account. It was a time to demand a clear response and accountability process. The very least Aiyawatt should be doing is considering his position; he'll have left thinking he's poured oil on troubled waters.

What Game Are You Playing At The Moment ?
foxile5 replied to LeicesterBran's topic in Music and Gaming
No - it's more purposeful now it seems. Retreating after losses, rebuilding, and coming back with intent. I'm in a big multi-player campaign and it's a threat to all involved. -
There’s a talk sport add that says “2 in 5 illegal stream users actually have lost £1,560 in real money” It couldn’t be more ridiculous if it tried. It’s so obvious that Sky and Amazon have had a gripe at the governmental powers about some lost shackles which prompts this examination. Boohoo, we can’t overcharge EVERYONE.
