  1. if the stadium haven't made it vocally clear by now (They haven't, despite the best intentions of a lot of the fanbase) that his & the board performance is unacceptable, they never will.
  2. 85 games Ricardo has missed according to Transfermarkt. I reckon that's 25/30% of the games. Not actually as bad as I thought it would be!
  3. Ah, good call. How much of his was him being useless rather than genuine injury though I do wander.
  4. Has anyone ever missed a higher % of games for us due to injury than Ricardo?
  5. Just cannot believe we wouldn't give Brendan any more money.
  6. I still don't think we need any new signings with the exception of a striker. The league is absolutely honking. So are we, granted, but still.
  7. I think we've seen enough from him to know that this is simply not true.
  8. In all seriousness it cannot be anyone other than Ricardo. The other candidates all have too much baggage associated with them: Winks - his Seagrave stance is absolutely not the mentality of a leader. Coady - where do you start Mads - unlikely to be there Choudhury - cannot lead by example at a team trying to get promoted when you're a league one level footballer Anyone other than Ricardo would be bizarre & worrying in equal measure.
  9. Has to be Coady. Proper leader. Great shouter. Top podcaster.
  10. It is keeping me guessing on a daily basis how this club will make me resent it even more.
  11. Does anyone care anymore?
  12. I wonder when he will leave. Presumably at some stage in this club's life he will leave. He's never, ever going to get a better job than the one he's in currently. You'd think the only way he leaves in the next 10 years or so is if Top sells.
  13. With the exception of his 12 game stint at Parma, he has had a fantastic start to his managerial career. You'd think he's bought himself the entire season at Chelsea this year but I can't see it
  14. Foxes never shit.
  15. Not to labour the point, but if last week (2 and a half months after being relegated) they "hoped to identify a preferred candidate", God only knows what the ambitions are for this week. The sky is the limit and we should all prepare ourselves for a huge week. Perhaps a kit released? Perhaps some pictures of Choudhury & Vestegaard "hard at work"? Perhaps they'll even present a contract to said preferred candidate? The club is building excitement for the season and boy oh boy are me and the rest of Coach 1 absolutely buzzing.
  16. Just still feeling so grateful that the club identified their preferred candidate last week. Just 82 days since being confirmed as relegated and perhaps more impressively, just 13 days after firing the previous manager. The new manager will also undoubtedly be grateful that he was clearly about 7th choice for the role and has been given all of 3 weeks to work with the players prior to the start of the season. This is an elite level establishment with extremely serious people running it. We are so lucky.
  17. Not convinced too many on here defend it anymore. The issue is that the majority of people in the stands are either passive or apathetic about the management of the club. The last 5 years should show that there is nothing this management group can do that would make the majority of fans turn aggressively against them. We're stuck with it like this. May as well just laugh about it & try and enjoy it when the odd fluke (Fatawu, Enzo, academy players) brings us some joy.
  18. We'll see! The championship was absolutely pony last year, as were the other two that got relegated.
  19. I agree with this, but we're kicking the can down the road. If we by some miracle don't get a points deduction, we should walk this league with the squad we have at our disposal. It's about whether or not the new manager can kick some professionalism into them which was so clearly absent for 30 odd games last year.
  20. Good luck to him. Has my full support. This club is completely on its knees isn't it. Mortifying that the sharpness of the decline (& potential for further decline) is so blatantly obvious to anyone paying attention, and yet still besides one or two articles there is no coverage of it.
  21. I'd highly recommend blocking them on all forms of social media. If we eventually manage to get rid of Wout Faes I will consider unblocking. Physically cannot manage even one more post of the admin glazing one of our most disastrous players for the last few years.
  22. Numb to it. Genuinely don't care who the manager is just as long as it isn't one of the dinosaurs we've been linked with solely because of their "experience" or because we know their agent.
  23. See you tomorrow (I'm with you. Utterly pathetic how far we've fallen).
  24. Please someone tell me this is one of those leaks they're doing to gage fan interest. Please. This is worse than Cooper.
  25. Absolutely ****ing pathetic. Unforgivably negligent to end up hiring someone we could've appointed 6 months ago. Look at the turnaround in Wolves' fortunes since he left. Look at the turnaround even in Bournemouth's fortunes. An absolute chancer who as others have said, will be completely eaten alive by this squad of overpaid cretins.
