  1. Good solid signing and potential captain.
  2. Charlie Miller maybe can’t remember if he actually got on the pitch. Signed on loan from Rangers.
  3. Sure is. Keep getting suggested friends with him as we work for the same company.
  4. Julian Watts is an assistant manager with Aldi.
  5. He was close with mourinho and is a pound shop version of him. Doesn’t get his own way and throws his toys out of the pram. Plays the deflection game and blames anyone but himself.
  6. He’s got teams out of this division before and he knows the players already. It could work but time will tell.
  7. The guy has been involved with the club for a decade so I don’t think it’s nativity. Everyone could see what was happening from afar, he was up close. Stuck his head in the sand and this is the end result. I agree with the family being absolutely brilliant and I do think this is just a bump in the road but there’s no denying the failures from those mentioned this season.
  8. Top for letting Rodgers run the team into the ground leading us to the drop. Gross negligence of the highest order. Rodgers for throwing the towel in but still happy to throw away games and pick up a wage in the process. The players as many are proven more than good enough to play well enough to comfortably survive but have given the bare minimum or below for too long.
  9. I think going into detail about the abusive messages is a little unprofessional. Just "some positive, some negative" would have sufficed. It doesn't make me feel sorry for him. Despite being eternally grateful for everything Top and his family have done for this club we can't just stand and admire the accolades while we plummet back to square one.
  10. One of the shining lights and a player who actually had the guts to come out and talk to the press. I wish him well.
  11. It's a horrible feeling even though I'd pretty much come to peace with it prior to today. As everyone has said during the season we began with a squad in need of investment that got none. A manager who threw his toys out of the pram when Top wouldn't give him more money to spunk on bang average/garbage players. Tossed away far too many games and the rot set in pretty quick. All the while, the board watched on, drawn in by Brendans BS and the likes of Maddison tweeting that we'd be fine. It was never going to be fine. Smith was captain of the Titanic, fair play to him for giving it a crack but ultimately the damage was done. The players don't get away scot free. Many of these ego's in Leicester shirts I'll be delighted never to see walk through the doors of the club ever again. Many are already mentally at their next club and don't give a monkeys about the mess they leave behind. Hopefully the remaining bunch can be built on into a competitive championship team. Here's to the glory fans departing and tickets being easier to get hold of....oh and Cov away.
  12. That we'd walk the league in 04/05 with Dublin and Connolly up top with "Invincible" Keown at centre back.
  13. Probably the Bournemouth home game when we were on the latter of the winnable games. Fulham pretty much confirmed it.
  14. Its been a pleasure to watch so far, Man City unplayable in that first half.
  15. Well up for this season with Shepshed. Looking forward to away trips to rushden, rugby and the local Leicestershire sides. Shaping up to be a good division.
  16. With us clearly having no plan when it came to replacing Rodgers it makes me wonder if the “we’ll be alright” attitude of the board is going to royally feck us over next season.
  17. One thing that scares me is that Jesse Marsch was willing to come to us and stay with us should we go to the championship. Talks broke down because he wasn’t convinced by the plan in place for life in the championship. Just what is the plan I wonder or is there even one? Worrying times ahead.
  18. Plymouth away on a Tuesday night.
  19. There's no leadership in the team. Evans and Kasper got us through many games but now one is gone and one is constantly injured. There are players on that pitch with a lot of talent for the game but no drive when the chips are down and no one's around to instil discipline on the park. Hence why the captains armband has been like a hot potato all season. Adding to that we are a soft side, not many players in that team like making a tackle or winning an aerial dual. The confidence has slowly been ebbed away due to poor recruitment, poor in game management (Rodgers) and a lack of ideas, Smith so far hasn't brought anything new to the table. It feels like some of the players, in their minds, are gone already and probably can't wait to leave this part of their careers behind them, sad but true.
  20. Looking to continue with a non league season ticket but go to more games with tickets hopefully bring more easy to come by.
  21. I still think there's a surprise result we can get but I'm worried about our lack of defence, we're like a boxer with knockout power that fights with his hands down.
  22. Barnes ducking out of that 50/50 proper annoyed me given the game and what was at stake.
  23. Great to be back again, thought the atmosphere was immense and the fans really got behind the team. Vardy takes that second chance early as in his pomp instead of overdoing it and Maddison scores the penalty, its game over at half time. Defensively we literally had Iverson and Soyuncu, thought Thomas was poor and Everton targeted him early on, he had practically no help from Barnes who I thought was poor all evening. Can only think we started Ndidi for his height when defending the inevitable Dyche set plays. When Maddison, Tielemans and Vardy link up it's a thing of beauty and in flashes we looked so good, particularly towards the end of the first half. Iverson MOM, absolutely vital and could well be the saves that keep us up. On the plus side it keeps the unbeaten run going but its a massive case of 'what if?'.
  24. Got my ticket for this one, absolutely buzzing! Been away for a long time and hoping to bring us luck.
  25. Nice lad, met him on a night out once. Put in some great performances for us and hasn't had a bad career since.
